Square Body trucks are just about the hottest thing on the restoration market these days and our Stunt Double is no exception! But being a hot project isn’t the same as sweating in your cab or having your engine overheat, so tag along as Stacey upgrades the AC and the cooling system to make sure this square body stays cool under the hood and behind the steering wheel. And speaking of getting frosted… nothing kills your good time like returning to your Jeep and seeing that your stuff has been stolen! Stacey has a fix for that too. just an fyi, u can repair a furture hole in that copper condensor and radiator with sand paper, a basic role of solder, and a blow torch from a local hardware store. can't do that on the aluminum stuff. something to keep in mind when deciding to replace them.

i soldered my copper rad on my 85 k20 once and ill do it again before buying an aluminum one . nothing wrong with new its just cool to keep it old school

Gladiator? I remember when the Gladiator was built off the old Jeep J-series truck chassis. There was an extended Wrangler based wagon built off the Wrangler or CJ chassis. The CJ8 or SCRAMBLER. So imagine my disappointment when Jeep (now Italian made FIAT or other subsidiary) announced the Gladiator. I expected a true Gladiator J20 truck and was ready to put down a deposit and get in line. After four CJ7s, a CJ5, a CJ8 (1981 w/ LS3 7004R, Dynatrac 60 rear & 44 front), two Grand Cherokees, a standard Cherokee, and my current JK Unlimited Rubicon, it looks like my Jeep days are over. Not only did they get the badging screwed up, they moved the iconic lighting from the center grill to the fenders. Ha... they should have iced the cake by going back to the lame square headlights. 🍕

Sadly from 2030 on all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Now they even want to slow down all the gas pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime.´´

Never lasted in the rust belt . Most of them rusted in a pile. We hated them in the body shop, we use to always say here comes another shit box to weld on all week. Just the facts , and those doors never shut good from new. These trucks are what made China parts famous. It all started with the rusty Chevies. Dodges were pop cans. The best truck by miles was the 73 to 79 fords. Even one that was in accident had better shutting doors then a dodge or Chevy. Don’t believe me have the pleasure to open and close one sometime. That is if you can . Truth is truth just take it from someone who has had to work on them in body shops back in the day. Oh yea and I sell vehicles and have owned a lot of them. But like I said they made china famous.
