Working with envelopes to make journals is fun. It takes me forever as my ocd demands envelopes have to be the same on both sides of my base.

I have more 6x6 paper than 12 inch. The 12 inch pads are so much more money. I am doing this for fun not a business so I have hard time spending so much on 12 inch size paper. I am interested in videos using that size whenever possible. Love your tutorials and chats.

E, were you using the Bearly Art glue? You asked how it works for us. Yes, I have been using that and it works fine. I put some translucent vellum pockets in a small ephemera book I was making and it held fine for those pocket bottoms. I did run my fingernail over the edges before gluing, like you suggested. I just realized this video was 2 years old, but, I am just coming to it! 😏 I have only recently come to the whole journal making and I am collecting all kinds of junk mail envelopes. I like the idea of making folios out of them so this video is great!

Love this project --- love watching you work! I've never used Art Glitter glue, so I can't compare, but I've been using Bearly Art for several months, and I'm totally satisfied with it. It smooths out well, isn't lumpy, and as you've stated, it doesn't saturate or warp the paper.

I was thinking about the last few touches you did, adding the pulls, and wondered why you could not simply punch all the way through each envelope so that each side would have easy access which would also eliminate the need to go back and cover all the punched out pulls with paper to hide the white portions. Thoughts?
@SCRAPBOOKINGWITHMECRAFTS2 жыл бұрын

Tip, if I may: flip your paper and mark it on the lighter side so you can see your mark easier. You can make a bigger mark on the flip side, cos you ain't gonna see it! ☺
