My home water! Red bluff. My only tip would be is to not pull so hard and crank on em. Boondoggin is small hooks and light leader. Not like running plugs. Act like you’re fighting a trout on 4 pound leader would be my tip. They’re gonna run just let ‘em. Awesome video!

Thanks for sharing Stacey. I know you caught a ton of fish period when using an open face reel for salmon try this technique. Grab your pole above the real and lay your elbow down at the bottom of the pole so that your arm is in contact with your Pole from your hand all the way to your elbow. It will give you more strength Leverage and your wrist won't hurt as bad at the end of the day. Your videos are always great thank you

Well Done Stacy. You got some beautiful salmon, almost Sushi grade. They need to teach you how to pump those larger fish in to the boat. Too hard and too much strain on the line and reel when you don’t pump. Nice job Girl and Great Footage
