Oh that sky! I saw it yesterday as I finished dinner dishes… the took the dog outside double quick for a walk so I could enjoy. The colors were so vibrant. The bags are beautiful…. I am in to see this come to life…. Fabrics are wow! Now armed with your new pressure foot…. Sew on! Thank you for today.

omg lol at 8:39 when you said that you'd been sewing at 3/8" instead of a 1/4" and Esther made a little whine sound!!! Perfect timing haha!

I am glad you figured out what was happening with your sewing before you got very far into it! The same thing happened to me, I thought I wasn't cutting my stuff right, and finally one day *ding!* I realized. 😂 Also, I cannot wait to see your tote bags! I have been wanting to make some too.

You are doing amazing work and it’s so fun to watch! Have you seen the Missouri Star Quilt tutorials? They are so helpful! Also the book, Last Minute Quilted Gifts by Purl SoHo’s Joelle Hoverson is very nice.

@@stacyelstone You are not alone! I just ordered the correct presser foot, having utterly failed at trying to make it work with masking tape. I am so close to ordering the Printemps pattern to make the tote bag. Trying to figure out how much fabric I will actually need...and trying to convince myself that I don't need another wip of any kind... lol. We both know how this is going to end.

@ 😂😂 I feel this so much! I’m trying to remember how much I used. 1 yard for the lining, 1.5 yards for the main color/back, fat quarter for the top and bottom color, 1/2 yard for the middle color ( I think)
