So, explore Spain's arenas of the future - there are 11 of them, and we'll present them all in order from smallest capacity to largest.

Nou Camp is in the build, Zaragoza plans to rebuild a 40k stadium and one can use aopen stadiums like Valencia, Sevilla (2x) as well. Portugal has 3 +40k stadiums Morocco is in a building spree for several stadium.

Amazing work. To make everything clear : I think Sevilla project will be modified, because of internal disputes (shareholders) it is not likely to be like that. All Spanish teams are renovating stadiums due to the CVC agreement and World Cup. I do not think Riazor will be developed if it is not chosen as a World Cup venue. But it is likely to be chosen. Another project that starts off in the following months is the renovation of la Cartuja. Montilivi is likely to have a 20 million investment this summer according to Mundo deportivo to adapt to Champions League requirements. El Molinón´s project is not here but amazing, but at this very moment is unlikely to be chosen for the World Cup , so it is not likely to happen, because its development depends on it. Balidos project could be amplified to 40.000, if it is chosen but it is unlikely to be chosen as WC venue. The last stand will be finished this summer. All the others you announced will be made. Because of the World Cup, and because this CVC money is only released to the clubs when the project is approved. To end this up, I would point out the Sport and Entertainment center of Atleti Madrid, which has an investment of almost 300.000.000 € and will likely start out next month.It would be integrated in Civitas Metropolitano surroundings.

Some capacities make no sense at all. Why do Deportivo, Cádiz and Las Palmas need so much seats? Sevilla, Zaragoza... are big cities with a lot of fanbase, that's different. Even Málaga could be coherent if they come back to the first tier.

El estadio del betis resulta mucho más barato que la del Real Madrid debido a que el presidente del RM decidió implementar un sistema de guardado de césped subterráneo con el que además pueden cambiar el terreno del estadio para poder emplearlo para otras actividades, como baloncesto, conciertos y más. la mayor parte de los costes del estadios del Real Madrid vienen de ahí... sobre el estadio del barca, no puedo decirte puesto que no me interesa mucho el equipo en sí xd have a good day man and viva el betis!! haha :))

La diferencia está en que las olimpiadas, Expo etc etc metía pasta y mucha el Estado, incluso las Autonomías y Ayuntamientos. Pero esto son Estadios que el que se tiene que espabilar en financiarlo es el Club de fútbol que quiera reformar su Estadio o hacer uno nuevo, el Estado en este tema no va poner un duro.

@@jonpeley, no. El Bernabéu no está terminado aún. Está en obras, lo mismo que el Camp Nou, por poner un ejemplo. Otra cosa es que, como lo han planificado mejor y han contratado una buena constructora y no una que pone en peligro la vida de los trabajadores, el estadio ha estado en uso todo el tiempo.
