Thank you so much StadiumDB to give another update about 2030 FIFA World Cup Centennial (refer 100th anniversary inaugural first World Cup edition in Uruguay). Amazing stadium, but concerned with opening match will be starting with South American to mark on this anniversary then the next match will fly into 2 continents depends on grouping and knock out stage and final match will be either European, Africa or South American to close this ceremony campaign. Yesterday, the Moroccan government signed a grant of one and a half billion dollars to build and rehabilitate the architecture of six stadiums, 500 million dollars to build the Casablanca Stadium with a capacity of 113,000 spectators, and it will be the largest stadium in the World Cup. The Rabat Stadium was demolished and is currently being rebuilt with a capacity of 70,000 spectators and a stadium. Tangier is currently being developed. The athletics track has been removed and a third floor has been added to accommodate 88,000 spectators. The stadiums of Fez, Agadir and Marrakesh will be rebuilt and re-engineered to have a modern design. The Moroccan Football Federation stated that the smallest stadiums in Morocco will have a capacity of 60,000. Spectator.

A quick correction : The moroccan stadiums will have at least 55,000 seats. The grand stade de casa, will be the second largest stadium in the world, and the largest stadium in world cup history, with 113,000 seats. Morocco is aiming to host either the final or the opening game, and wont be facing a brutal rejection.

Because, Morocco would brings with it 54 votes from africa and a good chunk of the asians votes. Thats why, all the other bids withdrew. Morocco wouldn't accept to host a world cup and not host a final or the opening. The infrastructure in morocco is also good, with some upgrades coming too, like a high speed train from casa to marakesh and agadir. Now, where to host the final, is up to fifa. Keep in mind, africa hosted only one final in the world cup history, and thats in 2010. Compare it to Europe who had 2 in the last 20 years. Its time for africa to host one. Next, is the revenue naturally more places means more money, which is what fifa likes. Therfore having the new casa stadium host it will make more money. Add the fact, it will be built near the airport and near hotels which will make it more closer and easier to get to. Morocco isnt your average african nation.

It will probably be Camp Nou. The Bernabeu has already hosted the final and now it's time for another one of football's 2 most legendary stadiums. Camp Nou fulfills both criteria that neither Casablanca nor Bernabeu fulfill. Camp Nou has both a large capacity and an established infrastructure in Barcelona. From what I am lead to understand Uruguay is hosting the opening match of the 2030 World Cup, Argentina the second match and Paraguay the third. Uruguay was obviously the setting for the first ever World Cup final 100 years ago and its for this reason and to celebrate that the 2030 competition is beginning in South America. But after the first 3 matches have taken place, everything else will be happening in Spain, Portugal and Morocco but to be honest Portugal is only really supplying 3 of the stadiums, its mainly going to be Spain and Morocco. This is quite fitting because Morocco has been wanting to play host to the FIFA World Cup for many years now and with the expansion of the competition in more recent times Spain isn't really big enough to host it alone. Again, if anyone has any concrete information and believes that i am mistaken please feel free to correct me and share your own information.

Con el nuevo formato de 42 equipos, la FIFA esta pidiendo lo siguiente: 16 Estadios: 1x 60,000 asientos para la inauguración. 1x 80,000 asientos para la FINAL del torneo. 14x 40,000 asientos para fase de grupos, Octavos, Cuartos y Semi Finales. Para hacerte una idea, en esta jornada de La Liga Española, solo 9 equipos (o estadios como quieras verlo) cuentan con la capacidad que se esta pidiendo. Por otra parte, España solo tiene 10 estadios con capacidad mayor a 40,000. Sería ESTUPIDO pedirle a equipos menores que amplíen sus estadios a cantidades mayores para acomodar el torneo cuando probablemente no van a ser capaces de mantener las instalaciones en buenas condiciones debido a fondos. Varios de los 10 estadios mencionados anteriormente necesitan SERIAS remodelaciones si quieren alcanzar las lineaciones y requerimientos puestos por la FIFA como accesibilidad, parqueo, entre otros. The range of stadiums is really wide, and, as far as I know, there will be 10 arenas in Spain, 5 in Morocco and 3 in Portugal, besides Estadio Centenario in Montevideo, Estadio Monumental in Buenos Aires and another one in Asunción. As for the Spanish stadiums, Santiago Bernabéu, Camp Nou, Metropolitano, San Mamés and La Cartuja are confirmed, the other 5 may vary, although Anoeta and La Rosaleda have many options of hosting games, Nou Mestalla is highly in doubt due to delays in construction. Other stadiums with chances are La Romareda, Enrique Roca, Riazor and Gran Canaria stadium. Morocco will have 5 arenas, and the most remarkable one is Casablanca's one, apart from Rabat. However, the prediction of which stadia will host the tournament is too early, in my opinion. In fact, we don't even know what stadium will host 2026 World Cup final. And, if the World Cup were played with the projected stadiums, the final would be played at Santiago Bernabéu stadium, even though I consider both Camp Nou and new Stade de Casablanca are perfect hosts for the World Cup final, and I would give both a semi-final each. Nevertheless, only FIFA will decide.

@@MohamedAbdelhadi-sc9jn This is a very outdated method of thinking. Seat Capacity no longer has the leverage that is used to, amenities VIP luxury and is what makes the money. On top of advancing infrastructure, transportation planning and football history, all of which either Camp Nou or Bernabeu has already. Both the Azteca and AT&T Stadium for 2026 are bigger than Metlife, but Metlife is the stadium that the final is being played in. Just because Morocco has been trying for so long doesn't justify that it should be host, especially since it joined the Iberian bid, not the other way around. Spain could hold the entire competition if it wanted to, its one of the few countries that could do it. Morocco couldn't do it with the 32-team format and it still needs to build its 6 stadiums.

Camp Nou will still hold some part of the stadium, while other parts will be demolished to make the stadium bigger. Morocco dosent have any star football players, so I dont think they will reach the final at all. With bit of luck they were able to reach Semi-final last tournament, that is propably the highest Morocco will ever reach in World Cup tournament. They have only Hakimi, that will be preatty old by 2030, while Spain will have in 2030 27 year old Pedri, 25 year old Gavi, 33 year old Rodri, 22 year old Yamal, 27 year old Ansu Fati, 30 year old Torres, 26 year old Balde and 23 year old Cubarsi all around their prime, so with star lineup like that I seriously think Spain can win the World Cup in 2030 again, while from Morocco I havent heard of any young talented football stars comming out ever, so bro I dont think they will reach the final at all, when they might get even knocked out in group stage or round of sixteen. In 2022 Spain didnt do that well, because Xavi and Iniesta had already retired and they had new young football talent comming, but nowhere close to their prime in 2022.

this along with the 2026 edition in north america with USA hosting most of the tournament and mexico and canada staging a small handful of fixtures is not bringing countries together. moroccan FA sold out by agreeing to be a bit part player with spain and portugal holding more games than the africans. the 2034 edition will be the only world cup hosted by a single country. expansion from 32 to 48 was not down to growing popularity, it was to price out smaller countries mainly not in europe or south america or north america from hosting it in the future; and more games mean more money for fifa; and the fact that some countries couldn't qualify consistently for world cups while many could earn their places on merit. also the fact that europe will have over 13 berths much more than the other confederations shows that the world game only works in the interests of europe. sepp blatter didn't care about money. he saw potential in some of the countries like soth africa, russia and qatar; and many more countries around the world besides europe. he would have kept the confederations cup as a dress rehearsal for the world cup the following year.

Likewise, the Bernabeu barely meets capacity, but the Camp Nou is far above the recommended capacity. Likewise, Barcelona is a bigger tourist destination and can handle a bigger rush of people than Madrid. As for modernity, the Camp Nou is being renovated only now, so it will be more modern. It's time to make multiple co hosting of fifa wc over all the continents to reduce home advantages. Again, out of 48 nations, why will Europe still produce substantial mismatch slot.. 16 out of 48 is 33%. Previously it was 43% and used to be 50%. That's not a wc. Let's use the dispersion parameter used in the male u17 wc for a normal or close to normal wc model which made it possible for all continents to share in the trophy haul since each continents are represented by a slot dispersion system. There's should be an unbiased slot dispersion method in representing each continents. In doing so, I expected Europe with 10 slots, Africa 9, South America 8 , North America 7, Asia 8, Oceanic 6. Am sure everyone will agree that this is a well dispersed slot for the 6 continents of a 48 nations wc. This useless wc model where Europe provides vast disparity in the slot allocation ( previously 50%), makes Europe to virtually keep winning the wc and that's not a global wc but instead an European WC. Just imagine, from 2006 wc till date, winners are 2006 Italy ( Europe) 2010 Spain ( Europe) 2014 Germany ( Europe) 2018 France ( Europe) Then 2022 Argentina ( alongside Brazil as the only European challenger because of their football spirit).
