Thank you for making this video - excellent content! When you filmed this nearly eight-years ago, I bet you didn't think it'd be valuable to someone this far down the road. 🙃 Fortuitous timing, though, because I'm in the market for a Stadler, and sent in my measurements this morning. I'm undecided between a model from the "Modul EVO" line and another from their "Modul Active." You were so thorough, which I greatly appreciate because you've helped me decide. May I ask if you still have yours and, if so, is it holding up well and do you still love it? Thank you again.

Thank you. Yes, I still have the jacket and matching trousers although I'm not riding as much as I used to. I was doing about 3,000 miles a year, but now only doing 2 or 300. The jacket still works like new. The biggest test that I gave it was a tour through europe where I did 2,000 miles in one week. It was mostly very hot and the suit was great in the heat. But let's be honest, no jacket can stay cool when you are stopped at the lights when it's 35 degrees. One small downside with the mesh trousers was that it didn't protect me from the heat from my engine enough (harley davidsons are pretty bad for this though). I also endured a really torrential rain storm in Italy where there were literally large waves of water hitting me and I didn't get wet at all - which surprised me to be honest as I wouldn't have minded if it had leaked a bit compared the massive downpour. I don't know about the alternatives, but I don't think that you would be disappointed with this suit.

@@motorbikestuff594 Thanks so much for your reply; that's incredibly reassuring to hear. Longevity is a key part of the decision-making process, and the fact that you've had it this long and put it through its paces as you have, speaks volumes. Also interesting about Harleys because that's what I ride. I'm also keen on their "Supervent 3" (MotoLegends has a great review) because it seems as though it'd provide greater seasonal ability, although I live in the Southeast Coastal US where it's hot as hell most of the year haha. Thank you again, and safe (and happy) riding. ✌🤘😎

I need to fix my comment. Okey, reseller couldn't help me but Stadler will fix my jacket and plus they will do it in guraante.

I bought a Standler jacket two years ago. It's main front zip torn. I want to fix it. When I went to reseller (MOTOMAX in Turkey), they said you should talk with Stadler. How could I made it fixed? I don't want to throw that much expensive jacket because of zip problem and it's design fault, not mine. Nice jacket they have. But there is no service available or an answer for your emails. In two years, front main zip started not to work anymore and suprisingly torn. I said okey It could be, they were saying it's guraanteed for ten years. But when I talked the place which I bought they said you should talk with Stadler. I wrote them (yes I saw, they are saying that contact with reseller; but reseller -MOTOMAX- is not accepting.) but couldn't get an answer. Good jacket with small flaws but realy bad service; a small problem made over 1000€ jacket been unusable.

Is this the Destiny Jacket? Can you please do a review of the pants? I'm thinking about purchasing this jacket. Your review was what I needed to convince me. Thank you!

+1professor No, this is the Modul Evo Jacket. I do have the pants (Invention) and I intend to do a review of those too at some point in the future.

Great review. Just a question on the exact type. The Stadler website has two Modul Evo jackets, Destiny and Concept. Could you please confirm which one this was? Thanks

+Simon England And did you decide for this after having seen the other one?
@motorbikestuff5948 жыл бұрын
+Simon England This is the Concept jacket. I haven't checked the website lately, but I think that the difference is that the Concept has cordura 2000 on elbows and shoulder and the Destiny has cordura 500 in the same places. It's hard to find good data, but I think cordura 500 is not as good as leather and 2000 is better. I didn't see both jackets, just went on the spec differences.

Stadler told me today that the Destiny was newer, would have an improved outer jacket reducing weight and packing size. However you are right use c500 instead of the c2000.
