I am impressed that an iPad can make music that sounds so great, this is truly amazing, finally an app that takes this device seriously and shows what it can handle.

I caution that it does not state which sound library or libraries were used in this rendition. I suspect they were not the included sounds, but were quite expensive in-app purchases.

Hello, thank you for your exquisite videos and educating others with digital scoring. I have purchased StaffPad two days ago and have fallen in love with it. Can you tell me which Mac computer apps work best with back and forth XML sharing/editing, e.g., Finale, Notion, etc.? I would like to work from both devices. Thank you.

Thank you for your generous comments. I’ve heard from numerous users and the developer that Finale works best. Please consider joining the Facebook StaffPad users group... a must for you to get candid advice and help... a wonderful group of global users. All the best to you and, like me, I adore my StaffPad and will posting new content for beginner composers of all ages.

I'd rather have Note Performer; the sound are wise, but the clarity of the articulation, the playback of slurs, and the synchronicity of the orchestra as well as its balance make it a better composing tool. I hope they give it support some time in the future

As a regular noteperformer user, it is still quite muddy in a lot of places, and QUITE overarticulate in just as many spots. At least this sounds even more real yet than noteperformer.

@@evanericksonmusic have always been interested in this comparison, wish someone would do a more in depth comparison.

Was this from a MusicXML score input or was it composed in StaffPad? Sounds great either way.

MusicXML input from Sibelius and then adjusted further in StaffPad.
