Stage 1 8Y Audi RS3 Tackles The Dragon!

Just a casual stroll through the Tail of the Dragon while attending Wookies in the Woods. I finally had a chance to test the car with its new wider stance using 19x10.5 & 9.5 wheels and 275 & 265/30 Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires.
I also added some Unitronic and Iroz goodies to the car, pair with the Redstar catless downpipes, the car is probably making another 50HP over stock.
Overall, Quattro AWD with reverse staggered wheels is definitely a cheat code in the turns, and I now understand the hype around how these 8Y RS3 cars handle.

Nice! did any of the performance mods for better breathing help or is it really wanting a tune? Itching for Uni to release something soon.

Yeah it made a huge difference. I raced my buddy with a JB4 tune, AWE exhaust and intake and was neck in neck with him the whole time

@@AudiMod Wow that is impressive. Haven't done one mod yet. Coming from a fully built RS3 its tuff not knowing we can tune yet. Would like to learn more about your air suspension. Is it a kit that one can purchase and install themself or is this custom?

“Stage 1” is open for interpretation. Since there’s no tune for this yet we’re having some fun with word play and calling stage 1. Since it’s catless and has turbo inlet & intake.

looks great, does airlift 3p handle better than stock suspension? and why not coilovers? I'm looking into getting one of these in the future.

Definitely handles better than stock suspension without a doubt. I’ve always wanted to do a proper air setup on a car rather than coils for once.
