I put in a TW-222 in my 2015 Ultra Limited and it really didn't change mileage too much. People I ride with we are always within quarter of a gallon on fill ups while touring.... Makes touring 2-up much better. The smooth power (torque) from 2K to 5K RPMs is exactly where I ride...

These cams can be put in any bike and they work very well with dynas. Spoke with Bob a while back and i was really undecided between the 222's and 555's. He said that its all about where and when you want your power. You have to figure out what RPM range you do most of your riding. My bike is currently in the shop getting the 222's installed along with Bassani 2-1. I live in an area with a lot of hills and i mostly bar crawl. Bob said the 222's are perfect and will turn my ride into a torque monster. I will be posting a video when i get her back.

From what I’ve done research the tw-222 is a touring cam designed for low end torque witch is great for touring bikes it’s most likely the cam set up I’ll be doing in my 2012 ultra limited this winter she’s ready for a refresh at 50,000 miles

2013 street glide 103 at just over 25k miles. I did the TW-222 kit dyno tuned using dynojet power vision stock oil pump. 83hp and 105 lb-ft with cobra true duals. Power range is 3000 to 4500 rpm it pulls in to 5000s. Low side 200 up to just over 240 miles to a tank. I like rec fuel best. I run 93 pump and I've rum 110 race fuels. 110 it's a beast. 90,91 rec is fun 93 pump is depending on where it's still a powerful fast bike. With that said you had it tuned when it was cold and damp. Try having a return you should be getting 200 + most of the time unless your driving hard and out-of range.

You have no idea how octane works! You don’t get more power from higher octane unless you advance the ignition timing! Higher octane fuels burn slower, research it!

2015 RK 103 w/ 222. This cam loves rpm range 3800-5k . I appreciate this cam waay better than a ss475 on my 2022 RG-ST

Did you bump up compression and set proper squish distance? From your HP/Tq numbers I’d say no....

Interesting. Have you put out what hp and torque its putting out now. My bob is only stage 1 but its got highlift cams in it, (86 hp & 98.6 torque). Pulls hard just like yours right up through 4 gear

So to get this straight....... I need the Cam Kit, the cam plate, a hi-flo oil pump since I am in there and what else? Does anyone have thoughts on going to cam GEARS instead of the chain?

Depending on your motor.. I didn’t need an oil pump. But since I was in there I got it. To change to a gear drive you need to make sure your crank run is at “ I believe “ 3 thousands or less. Otherwise the gears will chew itself up and ruin your motor

These cams were designed to be bolted in. The lift isn't high enough to where you need upgraded springs. Technically al you need is the cams and adjustable pushrods. With that being said, If you plan on doing big bore its probably a good idea to get an upgraded pump. These words came from Bob Wood himself. My 2012 FXDB is in the shop getting the 222's and S&S pushrods installed rn.
