Hey @TheDriversHub planning to buy a new vento 1.0tsi HL Plus manual. Is it a worth buy or should I go for a very pristine , well maintained 1.2 tsi Dsg (pre owned) ? Your reply would really help make a choice.

Honestly we would suggest to go for the newer 1.0 TSI offering. It is much better engine, much more reliable, the 1.2 TSI with the DSG has many problems. DSG failure will always be in the back of your head whereas the new car has a more carefree experience. DSG failure costs approximately 1.5L to fix, so do take all of these things into consideration.
