These cars are Money Pits in the second hand market if the earlier owners didn't maintain it properly. No matter what amount you buy, one needs to keep atleast 1-1.5 lac rupees extra budget for repairs / major services and surprises. People with exact budget especially buying the car by taking loan or exhausting entire savings etc should not fall for it.

@@fuad9241 so that's what I said buddy one lac to one and half. That's bare minimum, just the suspension change with ball joints etc will cost around 50-70k depending on quality which are routinely to be changed parts, forget the clutch system and turbo, that can dig a real real big hole. Moreover most of garages don't use torque wrench while fitting back parts or engine which further ruins the car. I see many enthusiastic people getting influenced by tuner scene, keeping budget like 3 lac and hoping to own these German cars, what people should realise is keep 2 lac aside apart from purchase, otherwise car will never provide the driving experience and spend most of time at home.
