She is wonderful. It would be nearly impossible to find a kinder, heartwarming, most loveable and most courageous woman, well, girl really, that you could ever hope to meet. Listening to Sarah has made me felt loved since they started the channel. I didn’t want it to be true. I desperately wanted a miracle and I prayed so hard. We lost. We lost a full moon. A full moon shining over an exotic lake. We never met, but I miss her so so much. ❤

Just found your story. You are a brave woman. I know you’ve passed in the last week but I will watch your posts anyway. My mother died of melanoma. She was 29, I was 4. You are helping me understand what she may have gone thru. I’m 74 now but still love and miss her.

I'm happy I'm not the only one watching and rewatching some of the older videos. I can't believe she's gone 💔 I knew she was going any day cause of the updates from her husband, but it was such a shock to me!! It's 02:57am and I'm watching her videos. I'm still like...in shock and I've never met her 🥺 I thought she was going to beat this. 😢

Me too but more to catch up on how her cancer journey began and I feel so sorry that she had to wait for so long to see the skin specialist. In Europe there is a cancer pathway which means if a GP suspects or thinks it is possible that you have cancer then the maximum time allowed before a consultant sees you and orders further investigations is 2 weeks. I don't know that it would have made a major difference to the outcome for Sarah but it hurts me to see her go through so much and if there is a chance it could of been picked up on sooner then maybe America needs to instigate a similar pathway to see a specialist very quickly if cancer is suspected so future patients don't have to wait so long.

Sarah, your are so articulate and spot on with your interpretations and descriptions of events in your medical journey. Well done. Retired RN who worked in Oncology in my final years of nursing. Two children who had cancer diagnoses, 20 years apart. I still tear up and can be easily overcome with the feelings evoked from those memories. One child had an exceedingly rare form of blood cancer with no known helpful treatments, and she was gone 6 days after dx. The second daughter has been in remission for 21 years from leukemia and will be 36 this year. I share this because 41 years after that journey began I see God’s hand in every moment on earth. Not in causing the pain, but in being with us every second of life and forever after life ends. Sarah, you are loved. I pray for you, your loving husband and beautiful children many times each day.

My sweet aunt was 80 when she received her melanoma diagnosis. A family dr ignored her mole and told her it was nothing. Fast forward to being told it was in groin lymphnodes and that she had about a 13% chance of 3 years. Well, she defied them by celebrating her 90th birthday. It tend eventually travel into her liver. Her quality of life was very high and I am hoping you do even better than her💕

I had an MRI for breast cancer, I had to lay face down for 45 minutes on a molded form, it wasn't comfortable but I tolerated it. Anyway, the loud noises that the MRI makes had a pattern, I turned this pattern into a song, I actually fell asleep and had a dream that I was in a Star wars enviornment, it was wild. Thankfully my BC wasn't in my lymph nodes, so it's in Gods hands now, I put my trust in Him.

Is someone able to explain why a lot of doctors/specialists are incredibly slack, incompetent and dismissive? This girl had to literally advise these professionals, these extremely knowledgable (apparently) people on how to go about helping her with a rapidly spreading fatal illness....again, THAT THEY SPECIALISE AND GET PAID TRUCK LOADS AND PRAISED AND WALK AROUND WITH GODLIKE-COMPLEXES FOR HAVING EXPERTISE IN THESE AREAS only for a layman (for a lack of a better word) to have to chase them up and make suggestions on how to help her. I know it doesn't help, but I'm so angry for you and your family. Sarah, you are a superior being. You always have been. I understand from your husbands latest video where you're at right now. Sarah you have made a positive and powerful difference in this world that will last well after we're all gone. Girl, I'm thinking of you and your family.

What an awesome young woman Sarah was, and still is, in her heavenly home! And I know that feeling of dread as you wait for a phone call. A few years ago, I had a fairly large lesion (that looked like a blister filled with fluid)... removed from my ankle. The doctor sent it in for a biopsy. So when I received a call at 6:30 PM on a Friday night with my Dr.'s name on the caller ID...I knew what she was going to say before I ever picked up the phone. Yes....the lesion was malignant.

@@IntelBlackJet Thank you so much for your prayers and your kindness! I was one of the lucky ones though. The lesion was biopsied as "squamous cell carcinoma", meaning it was on the top layers of skin, and as far as the doctor could determine, had not gone any deeper. After the lesion had been removed, I asked the dermatologist how she knew she had removed all the malignant cells. Her answer was not very comforting. She said "she didn't". But she further explained that cancer cells are "smoochy" (great medical term ☺️)...so she went through all the smoochy layers of skin and a little beyond as an extra measure of caution. So far so good. It also helped that the lesion was on my ankle, away from any major lymph nodes. But the big "C" word is always frightening because you just never know. Thank you again for your prayers and your thoughtfulness! God bless!

I've rewatched this and realised that she had bad luck after bad luck, all the worst case scenarios happened to her. And I have the feeling that second round of cancer was dealt poorly by the medical team. Why did they postpone the surgery 'because of the pregnancy' while there was no problem with that? Sarah had to ask and they suddenly 'figured out' that they can remove that cancer lump even with her being pregnant. Can't belive she's not here anymore. I'm so sorry. I miss her being here.

@maddyk8505 , would you want to be pregnant and have the knowledge that any surgery could be more dangerous to you and the fetus and then have a doctor tell you that you should have surgery? Had she not been pregnant they likely would have had her scheduled for surgery immediately. It's exponentially more dangerous to operate on a pregnant woman. They probably didn't feel the need to pressure her into surgery if they felt it could wait a short time. One does have to advocate for themselves and it seems like she came to her decision without being pressured into it.

@@pogfam wow- that’s interesting, I suppose the benefits outweighed the risks in your case. Glad they could do it safely. I’m so sorry this happened to you. I’m battling stage 2 BC going through chemo treatments right now before surgeries. Which I’m NOT looking forward to. I watched some of your other vids, have your doctors determined that chemo infusions won’t help, or have you already had them? Sending prayers & good thoughts your way🙏💗

"Be kind an make good choices", the best choice all fair skinned people can make is: DO NOT SUNTAN! The shade is your friend. If any lesion looks somehow suspicious: Do not wait! RUN to the doctor! That´s what I did about a year ago. Had a very "peculiar" lesion on my skin, immediately called my family doctor, he took a look at it and quickly scheduled an emergency appointment at the dermatologist for me! One week later I sat in the dermatologists office. The lesion turned out to be pre-cancerous (precursor of squamous cell carcinoma). Got caught very early, was cut out and cured! Do not panic, but do not wait! Be quick! Even melanoma is curable if caught at an early stage! And nodular melanoma is the most EVIL beast of them all! You want to have it cut out asap!

shouldn't your doctor have suggested removal before you? sometimes you just wonder if they focus on each and every patient!

I definitely had similar thoughts at the time but was also very grateful that he took my request seriously. It was so hard during that time too because all non essential surgeries were being cancelled left and right because of Covid and I wasn’t sure they would could mine as essential, thank goodness they did!

No way would they think that. It was the most important thing to do to save your life. I am just glad you are paying attention a d thinking it through. I am like that a d push when I don't like decisions they make. Your not in denial a d that is what's essential, We are own best advocate not them, That was a glaring mistake on his/her part! Glaring! To give him credit, like you said, he jumped on the wagon and took over. Alot of doctors cannot get passed their own egos so you must watch over their decisions. Good Job, Sarah! I know you have the utmost faith in your doctor and rightly so. Its just we are only human and that makes us imperfect! I have taken care of and been supportive of lots of people in my life starting at 18. Its so hard to see how disruptive disease is to a family, especially cancer. I know alot and most of my friends were nurses. I read and learn in that field still today. Someday a simple tweak and we will have the answer. They a few months ago discovered a drug that easily put people in full remission working with the body not against it. Ask about it, Its in research at this point but its coming.

I don't understand! The cancer was caught super early and yet it metastasized. Why???? Wasn't it supposed to be gone forever?! They always tell us when caught early it's curable! It's so, so freaking unfair!!!!

Not with Melanoma. It is an insidious disease. Only potentially “curable” if caught MEGA super early (as in the “in situ” form they call it where it has spread NO WHERE). As Sarah mentions she had a sentinel lymph node biopsy and it was found in her sentinel lymph node (same as my father whom I lost in 2021). Once it has made it to the lymph nodes it isn’t a matter of if but “when” it will move Stage 4. Sadly, there is no cure. All treatments are “hopeful” for cure but more so to put it in remission or keep it stable … As is the case when it starts to spread sometimes (many times) it spreads very fast and unfortunately so many succumb to this awful disease …. Many hopes and prayers that Sarah has many years left to enjoy her life and family … always hold out for HOPE ….

@nesadcruz7840 yes ma'am. Specifically with fertility hormones and breast cancer. Also, women having gone into remission and then having a baby and having a recurrence. I don't know of any scientific studies, just what I've seen. Been a nurse since 1989

Surprised they didn't do chemo together with immunotherapy before the pregnancy, sadly looks like the immunotherapy didn't work that well for her.

I don't believe melanoma reacts to chemo, that's why they do immunotherapy. I also have stage 4 metastatic melanoma and have been in treatment for two years, not NED yet. Sarah, you are an inspiration. Keep fighting 🙏💪🏻
