katrina is one heck of a confident singer! any of her one take covers (on her personal channel) reflect this wonderfully; i'm particular to her renditions of jessie j's mama knows best & celine dion's i surrender. the most emotionally engaging (& somehow, completely confident yet completely vulnerable) performance i've seen from her would be her one take cover of never enough from the greatest showman (also on her own channel)... it's short, but pure magic. she DEFINITELY tells the story in that video, despite filming at home with the most simple of equipment. it still gives me shivers & i've seen it hundreds of times now. please watch, even if you don't make a video for it on here; it's worth it. ♥️ thank you for sharing yr lovely self, both inside & out, with us once more. you have the most divine energy & infectious smile! i've been hooked ever since yr dimash SOS review; that was the closest i've ever seen someone else getting to my own personal reaction when i first heard him, & that was truly beautiful to see. :)

Both Katrina Velarde and Morissette Amon are very good Filipina singers and friends. Our Filipino & Filipina singers have their own individual styles and strengths. This is why we do not compare them with one another. BTW, have you tried reacting to Gary Valenciano's cover song of SPAIN by Chick Corea? In this song, you will hear him scat in Latin beat as he immerses himself into the song utilizing what we call back in the day - Voice Percussion, what you probably call Beat Boxing today.
