This reaction video is the best compliment Pink Floyd could ever possibly receive to this epic masterpiece. It’s so sincere. She gets it, because you can see she’s genuinely feeling it.

You're looking at the boys that are ruined music for a whole generation I think they were highly overrated and wouldn't be rated as such if he wouldn't have passed away

Janet, I am so sorry. I love you and your channel, and while I was watching some of your older videos, I was wondering why I hadn't seen you for a while. Because I'm just a stupid old hippy, I realized I hadn't subscribed !!! I hope I'm forgiven! As for the video, I am a massive Kate Bush fan, and this brought back memories, and your analysis was perfect. What I wouldn't have given to swap places with Peter Gabriel in this song!

Great reaction!!! You can see a more dramatic version of this song, a more recent version in a concert named-En toute intimité-2003. Some critic qualified it as the best performance they withnessed es in their lifetime! I Look forward the see your reaction…..

Je me demande bien qui peut rester insensible à cette performance. Une performance en totale adéquation avec les phrases qu’elle prononce au début de la vidéo.

Johnny Cash played many Christian songs throughout his life. I think he knew he was going to a better place when he died. This song and many others that he sang really gets a point across, though. After listening to this one I listened to Trent Reznor sing it. They have different styles. Trent seems to sing from an addiction standpoint. The song originally belonged to him. Both of these are terrific versions.

Shine on you Crazy Diamond is of course a lament to Syd Barrett and is a kind of goodbye as you pointed out towards the end of the video. Pink Floyd lost Syd Barrett at the end of 1967/early 1968. He was a casualty of taking a lot of LSD, He only lasted for one album "Piper at the Gates of Dawn" and a few appearances on the second album "A Saucerful of Secrets" in 1968. His light shone brightly, but burned out far too soon. The band didn't hear from Barrett for years until 1975 when they were recording the "Wish you Were Here" album he suddenly and very uncannily showed up at Abbey Road Studios apparently when they were recording this very track. Barrett had become bloated and very overweight and members of the band didn't recognise him wondering about the studio touching the Floyd's equipment. The band didn't realise it was Barrett for some time, but when the penny dropped they were in shock and tears at the state their old friend and bandmate had got himself into. They played and early mix of "Shine On" to Barrett, and he's reply was, "It sounds very old?" I am pretty sure this shaped the beautiful, but mournful last part 9 of the track.

The work of the late great Richard Wright. I saw Pink Floyd 4 Times, (including the last date of the tour on the 29th of October 1994) at Earls Court. I couldn't get tickets to all go together on one night! What a fantastic collection of concerts to witness. As you can guess, it was a really tough ordeal taking all my family members and mates on different nights, but someone had to do it Lol! Loved every moment of them all...🤣

"Are we on the same page" you say? I've been on this page most of my life! Pure music escapism that takes you to places. That is the magic of Pink Floyd, plain and simple!

About Ale's stage presence, I think vid doesn't really capture her stage presence. She doesn't cheese for the camera much but with her tall thin form and jet black hair, she is striking looking onstage from the moment she walks on. There's a whole sub-cult of Ale fans. By all accounts, people are really blown away by their live shows. Cumulatively, their stage presence is @ 100%.

The concert in favor of investigation for AIDS is much more spectacular from stage presence perspective. He can make the whole stadium sing without even say Hello to the audience. It starts with a short version of Bohemian rapsody. Tecnically, it won't be cheating regarding reactors rules.
