I agree that 114 and 117 have plenty of power from mfg. Just intake Tuner and exhaust is all that is necessary. Yes I like power and low end Torque. Great Videos always

Jerry, I mentioned to you in a previous video that I have a 2023 anniversary Ultra Limited with the 114 and a Goldwing. My Goldwing has twice the torque as the Ultra. Last week I had an opportunity to test-ride a 2024 Roadglide with the 117. Holy cow! That 117 is much quicker than the Goldwing. Not sure how HD pulled that off since there is only a 3cc difference but clearly they did a great job on the stock 117 engine. I might be selling the Wing now for the Roadglide. I can only imagine what the bike was like you test rode with the stage 2. I appreciate all your videos Jerry.

Great Video, thanks for putting it together! I really like what The Motor Company has done with the 24 RG and SG. I have decided to wait for about 4 years before buying my next bike. Being retired, I only have so many new bikes in the budget. I just installed (did it myself) a Stage 2 kit on my 17 Ultra Limited. I went with a Wood 22 XE cam, Screaming Eagle 55mm aluminum intake, Screaming Eagle Ventilator Extreme breather, S&S oil pump and cam plate (to get rid of the gen 1 oil pump that came with the 107s), and an S&S Sidewinder 2/1 exhaust system. I have some riding buddies who have 114s and 117s and this just made my bike have power output equivalent to theirs. At 64, I am also thinking about moving down from an Ultra Limited to possibly a Low Rider ST when the time comes. Again, I really am impressed with the 24 SG and RG, so that's a decision I will think about for the next 3 to 4 years, before heading to the dealership for my next purchase. Oh and yes, that metallic white is really good looking...Thanks again for the video!!!

Would love to know why people need so much power? If you have the money, I guess it’s nice. But you’re not on a rice rocket, it’s a cruising/touring motorcycle. I have a 103 RK, and it’s great. Rode similar in the NYPD Highway Patrol. Just my opinion.

I would have liked about 1.5 inches higher bars like those on the police E/Glide, but that all depends on a person's height and arm length.

Stage 2 Harley cam? The tork cam? Or which one? I have a 2022 street glide st and plan to put on rinehart slimline dual exhaust with their headers back to 4.5” mufflers that have copper accents to match my bike and with a Harley tuner over the coming winter season here in Ct. just wondering what cam, Harley preferably, would be a good fit?
@zacharymalik93578 ай бұрын
Harley cams and tuner are good for warranty. A star racing 30-30 cam will get you over 40hp gain with a power vision tune and dyno. Tons of cam options for m8 motors that make more power then HD cams. For almost the exact same price.

@@tonydanzl But it's still 80 mph and at the end of the day, the bikes are called "cruisers" for a reason. Unless you are joining the racing circuit, it's a waste of money. Do what you want to do with your bike, but frankly, I've seen people who have these done to their bike who would be better suited taking basic riding lessons or lessons with Jerry instead.

Expensive upgrade but do what you will I guess. Frankly, as a motor-trained officer myself, I've seen MANY people with Stage upgrades who should've spent the money on riding lessons, a session, or private lessons with Jerry. You'll get more bang for your buck when you know what you're doing, more so than engine parts. It makes riding so much more enjoyable. Putting more HP in a bike when you cannot ride is not smart. BS like a stage upgrade and other stuff, ain't gonna save your butt, and that should be your first concern, proficiency. Food for thought.
