When human is born, he does not have suddenly the grammatical of his first language in his brain and completely with its rules. The native language is acquired through some stages, and every stage is passed near to adult’s language.
There are 6 stages in children's first language acquisition;
1. Pre-talking/pre-linguistic/pre-production/cooing stage (0-6 months old)
2. Babling stage (6-12 months old)
3. Holophrastic stage/first word stage (12-18 months old)
4. Two words stage (18-24 months old)
5. Telegraphic stage (24-30 months old)
6. multiword stage (30 months up)
Language acquisition will keep developing along with their age and happen gradually. Starting from speaking meaningless words to meaningful words. From speech that does not have intonation to intonation of speech. Next up, children start speaking with complete sentences and using different intonations. At age six, children ideally start a process to get complex sentences in phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, and pragmatics.
