These Myras remind me of the old Paiste 3000 series cymbals which I absolutely loved

Hi Sam. They do in a way. It’s great that the “raw” unlathed finish is only on the top of the cymbal. The bottom is lathed.

I'm about to get the whole setup of those Myra raw models I just really wish they had a thinner regular crash model instead of all of them being Rock crashes I especially wish they had a 20-inch version@@paulocardosodrums

Hey @@samw.2479. Don’t let the “rock” thing put you off as they are incredibly versatile. And they can quiet or explosive depending on how they are played. Both Myra sets I have are the full set. 3 crashes - 17”,18” and 19”, 21” ride (although there is a 20” models as well), the 14” hats and the 18” china.

@DanMayhemDrummer I love them both but do have a slight preference towards one of them. Will have to start mixing them up with each other and even other series to see what’s what. But absolutely love the 21” ride on the RAW model. Hi hats are really articulate on stick definition and the crashes do speak for themselves too. Great articulation, ping, even the bell sound on them all is great. Loving them so far 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻

I has a couple of DH cymbals, 18 crash and china. They sounded beautiful but broke after a while.

@robsco1249 the DH series was an entry level cymbal. No longer available.

I don't know what you did any differently, but there is a marked difference audibly with the 21" ride at 11.15 than there was at 5.12 Just an observation.

One is a brilliant finish, the other an unlathed finish, so not as bright 👍🏻

Being a listener and not a player, I don't understand that, but I don't need to 😅. I just have a preference for the 11.16 after hit sound from that cymbal and you bending the sound with your hand. For me it's the difference between "what is he doing, I know it is something but I don't know what" to "that is a beautiful, subtle sound" You have an amazing talent and I enjoy watching and listening to you play. From the different ways you hold your sticks to the way you use them and the pressures used. I love your control of sound and your ability to separate and isolate them to avoid it just being random noise.😊❤
