Staggered fused clapton no skills needed. The coil is not flawless but i did not rewind to correct any imperfections as long as the coil is for my personal use.

I couldn't find the device you used for wire winding. Is there a product link or how can I do it?
@iansowards2817 жыл бұрын
If you leave about a 1/4-1/2 inch of core un-claptoned at the end of each strand and loosen your staggered clapton (by reversing the drill for 2-3 second while holding the end of the staggered clapton with pliars not too tight), the fuse will land in the right spot every time. Not gaps or double runs
@FastSnail007 жыл бұрын
i have tried this method but mainly the double runs appear i suppose due to the friction between spool holder and table and between wires and guide hole. The best result i have obtained was using as a secondary wrap (around both cores) a higher gauge wire for example (2x24+36) +38

Can you do more videos like this with the Clapton tool with words describing it more.

my english is not very good but i`ll be happy to answer to any specific question. I'm not so skillful so all my builds are based on Daelus Avidartisan. I will try to do some other videos how i use Daelus .

I am wanting to know if you still have the Avidartisan Daedalus Pro Coil DIY Tool you reviewed, or know where I can find one. I think they aren’t being made anymore. I just started using an RTA, and have suffered a pinched nerve in my ne j which makes it almost impossible if not impossible to make them the usual way. If you have yours, are you willing to sell it?

i can't see where you put or how you put that small piece of wire in to get the spacing

love your way for making this tutorial, will you show me where to put those loop for staging between the wrap, already try but seems in wrong position making the staging supporter stuck
@FastSnail007 жыл бұрын
The tension of the wrap wire is enough to self align it with the spaced loops. As you can see in the video I did not arranged the wire in any way. Try different wire tensions to obtain the best fit. The spaced loops slides along the core wire and inevitable appear double loops. An alternative could be as in staple staggered fused clapton video to use, instead of spaced clapton, clapton wire wraped tight and a higher gauge outer wire (for ex. 32 and 36 or 36 and 38).

It was for sale few years ago. A printed version you can find here www.thingiverse.com/thing:2889247

@@FastSnail00 what do you think of it? If it worth printing it? I think I saw it on thingiverse, but wanted to double check with someone on here

@@leeparsons70 I printed one and works well. The jig (wire guide) should be replaced often so it would be recommended a piece of brass. Also I modified it as here : kzbin.info/www/bejne/qp_ahpJ9l8SFnJI

@@FastSnail00 where did you get a brass fitting which fits to base of the device like yours? What's it called?
@FastSnail003 жыл бұрын
@@leeparsons70 in video is original device not the printed one. I did the same modifications on printed version and instead of brass piece i used printed one.

any tips or suggestions for the spacing part? it seems whenever i try the loop method for starting the spacing, ill get maybe an inch spaced, then it reverts back to jus going clapton. sometimes it wont even do a spacing at all but start spooling like im jus making a clapton. ive also run into problems where the spacing wire im using gets wrapped up IN the wire im trying to space. this is becoming so frustrating and im at a loss of what it could be

hello can u tell me how to straighten your coil. like can you show me how to do it
@FastSnail007 жыл бұрын
First I put in reverse very slowly the powerdrill keeping the other end of the wire with a pliers till the wire tend to twist in opposite sens. Then I cut the wire at the length necessary for one coil (usually about 10 cm). For each piece I use a pair of pliers or by hand. Nothing special. Sorry but there are a lot of videos explaining how to do it. However I will try to include in a further video how I do this.
