Inductance smoothes out the peaks, so more inductance = smoother weld, no inductance = fierce arc, more spatter. You should try dialling down the volts a little and up the inductance to around 30-40% and it will give you a nice, clean bead. Practise, practise and practise. I've been welding for 40 years, from stick to Tig and in all that time it still surprises me, we never stop learning.

Well Buddy, I think your Problem is also that you try to keep a stady Hand and go straight forward. That doesnt work on thick Material. It simply need some movement. You can see at the End of your video at the fillet weld that you didnt penetrate the lower bit correctly. I would set the Volts a little more down wich will prevent for all those spatters. Just a few hints from 35 years of expierience in welding. 😉

Positive feedback is always welcome. Thank you. I will play a bit more with the setting also like half volt less for example might give the disired effect. i think it also has to do with how clean the material was.

Would you mind posting your manual somewhere on the internet in pdf format? That would be incredibly kind of you?

I also bought the device from them but I didn't get the user manual... Where can I get the manual? Where did you get yours? Thanks for your reply. Your video material is very useful. Thanks for that. Greeting.

I am very happy with the quality and feel of how it welds. Settings are a bit different then what you would normally expects, but it welds good. Havent tested the weld on strength but penetration seems very good. i would not change my purchase if i could (same amount of money similar machine?? i havent seen it). (Sorry i filmed a 6th part, but havent had time to edit had to travel a lot this year).

Thanks for your reply, it seems like a wire speed control is what this machine is lacking but it is what it is. Really appreciated the video's, it let me get acquainted with the machine. Many thanks & Happy New Year🎉🥂🍾 Best wishes -Scott E.

You're dragging MIG? Push MIG drag Stick.

Dragging stick pushes the slag on to the back of the weld and pushing mig gives penetration and forms the bead properly given the settings are right.

@@deadhead657 I am doing both depending on what i need to weld, generally i am pulling though and sometimes making figure 8 type movements with the tourch othertimes not.

@@maycodesignandengineering7514 I've never heard of that, but there's more than one way to skin a cat so I'll take your word for it. That said I can't think of any reason I'd ever drag mig.

I bought the same welder and never had any satisfaction with it. Wasted a lot of time, electricity, wire and material trying to get a good weld with any success. Useless bit of equipment. I would suggest you buy a good synergic Mig welder and cut out all the time wasting with settings.
