It's as if because someone doesn't know a band well they're underrated as soon as they find a lot of their music enjoyable and, because they didn't know, they're 'underrated'. It's annoying.

These guys killed it, definitely one of the best covers of Comfortably Numb that I've heard. Now maybe I'm biased 'cause I'm a huge Floyd fan, but I wouldn't say it's better than the original. Aaron Lewis is great, he doesn't get enough recognition.

They both have emotion. That doesn't make them Emo. That makes them dinamic. How they can put into words things that were thought to be unspeaskable. Waters did a 5 star job and Lewis did a 5 star job doing a cover of him. I agree with you patholog. I used to listen to pink floyd in high school like15 years ago. I think this is great! And there's a reason this one seems "dull"... It's because the song is Comfortably Numb. Comfortably Numb. Numb! Numb implies dullness, but Aaron brings it out and makes it soothing, hence the Comfortable part. All he did was break down the lyrics and perform accordingly, and I think that's what makes this awesome.

Agreed! His broody voice give the song more of a darker, heavier feeling and I love it. I actually like this version better for that reason. Pink Floyd's version, though it was the original, just doesn't have the same weight and feeling as this one. This one touches me.
