My mom and I have been interested in getting into this hobby. It’s good to know they have starter kits out there we can get to start off on. Once we get better we can move onto cutting our own glass and using designs we find online.

TFS Tom. I don't think I have a steady enough hand to try this. The soder really does look better black. One thing I really like about your videos is the humor you sneak in!🤣😂🤣 I ordered wax and soap on the 11th can't wait to get it.

Tom, I truly appreciated and enjoyed this video! We have several stained glass accent windows (lovely and with a country flare) in our home which were done by the prior owner and I always wondered what it entailed. I see they used the material to blacken the silver solder as well! 👍🏼

Still trying to find the right doctor for this difficult challenge. I keep googling crack experts but all I find are masonry experts.

@@AlleyPicked I recommend the deep pour epoxy. Just try not to move 48 hours until it cures!

I remember a few years ago Michael's came out with a similar stained glass kit. I was curious so I went to look up reviews online and found an absolutely scathing review from another youtuber. Her criticisms were low quality flux and solder, poorly cut glass pieces that they expected users to sand into shape with a nail file, and designs that placed the hanging rings on structural weakpoints that were sure to break with time. I don't have a Hobby Lobby hear me, but if I did I'd want to give this kit a shot, as it seems to have a lot more thought put into it.

The flux and solder in the kit are perfectly fine. Other that the missing piece of glass, it was cut decently.
