Stainless is just manufactured for every doctor who enjoys absolutely buckwild strategies. As a maleknights player, he's going to be absolutely insane for things like Thorns and Hung and the fact that you can just stack his little sentries as artifical range extension? V curious to see how crazy his sentries can go when used by ops buffed by Aak or placed on red tiles cause all I'm seeing is engineer stonks. He feels like a supporter in the true sense of the word!! Thanks for the awesome showcase!!!

The best part is the sentry can reach higher potentials than Magallan's S2/S3 drones, and they don't take deployment slots. So even if his DPS is low or he has low applicability, it is still 3 units in a single one.

​@café nah spy fits the fast redeploy/assassin more, scout can be vanguard i guess, pyro can be ifrit's friend, heavy can be the ranged defender(blitz and liskarm type) with his minigun and sandvich being his skills soldier is either an aoe sniper or a damage focused pusher most of their skill are probably ammo based i guess

Demo as new specialist archetype would be onteresting tho, since specialist could change how they attack to help other ops But at this point, demo change his attack range from 3x4 (usual sniper range) into 1x2 (typical guard range) in his skill 2, and maybe sticky bombs placement at skill 1

I’m really liking just how much of a supporter he is. He obviously helps deal damage, but can also help on-hit effects like SP charge or healing La Pluma, act as a range extension for many ops, open up new strategies for weaker units like Beehunter, and heck even let Roberta and Windflit get some relevance by letting them heal his turret (not that you’d really need that usually but the option is nice). And his turrets hit hard when you have someone like Exu on them, yet they don’t overpower her DPS, they simply provide a higher DPH to help her deal with enemies she either can’t hurt or can’t reach. I wasn’t sure what to think of him at first but I really do like him more and more as these showcases come out! Also, can you do a Dagda S2 showcase please? I’m curious how well she can perform, considering she can crit for almost 2k damage with max stacks on her crit, and considering she’s a brawler and Siege is a vanguard (and Indra too I guess), it doesn’t seem that hard to build said stacks.

@@Astonthepunk It's stated in the talent I'm pretty sure. The turrets are programmed as "enemy units" so they can't be healed at all through passive means such as Angelina, Perfumer, or the bard archetype. Only artificers can heal the turrets.

Insanely good, since Roberta this archetype really makes your imagination go wild! No deployment slot and not even taking damage from range or splash attack by enemies. Archetto with her increased range go brrrr, the range extension can outreach Passenger (though only in one direction). Engineering department is so beatiful.

Passenger can also use the S3 as an extension for his chain attacks. I think he can trigger the turrets two at a time with proper placement

They have different roles. Ling is simply just... ridiculously strong...? But other summoners have their own roles -- Mayer bots stun when detonated, Scene reveals enemies, Deepcolor... her summons don't do much except have potential of regen and last longer, but the unit herself can provide dodge. For artificer archetype, Roberta can provide a shield for units to survive one strong attack -- that, is immensely powerful, and also one of the reasons why Mudrock is so strong since Mudrock stacks those shields for herself over time. Windflit is a practically hopeless case for now though (note that he gets his release later than Roberta)

I have so many questions. How does his sentrys interact with Blue poison passive or ifrit S2 burn damage? How fast does Ash and Kroos Alter charge the sentrys? Can chain casters achieve global range? Ifrit/Hoshiguma S3? Do splash damage charge the turrets?

DOT will trigger the turrets (although you can't build Ifrit S2 charges since she's always attacking). Pretty dang fast Not global considering their bounce range isn't large, but you can guarantee bounces which is nice. Bonus points for Leizi as these turrets aren't blocked so she gets an SP battery. They'd get hit once per second Yes.

@@slonik0002 I didn't know Leizi would benefit that much from the S3 (was thinking S2 was the best for Chain Casters). AK really made a unit that pretty much solved a lot of things at once (high SP costs, Musha and Reapers lacking healing when there are no enemy waves, faster charging of offensive recovery skills, range issues, etc)

Melee ones won't attack them either if there is another enemy in range due to target priority. Remember, melee prioritize enemies that are blocked first, and the structures are not blockable. Ranged units on the other hand do NOT target enemies that they are blocking first, they target what is in their attack range based on target priority only (eg. enemy is blocked outside of ranged unit attack range by said ranged unit, the ranged unit will NOT attack)

@@gaerekxenos Yeah, but the turrets have -2 priority. Outside of special targeting, nobody is hitting them when an enemy is in range. You can either block them earlier and use a ranged unit like you said, or use a unit with horrible range and not worry about blocking.
