My 2002 Gt front calipers are seized and leaking, so needing to replace them asap. Great video showing what all is involved and needed to get the job done!

Was trying to do the same to my 04 mustang, got the fronts on no problem my rears have been problematic. The brake line fittings are rusted and seized to a point penetrating oil and heat don’t even help it.
@notacarguy_ Жыл бұрын
That sucks! Are you going to have to get new calipers for the rear?

@@notacarguy_ eventually but it’s the brake line fittings that attach from the hose to the brake lines on the car i can’t seem to get off

Your concerns about cross threading the banjo bolt is very warranted. I ruined a set of Cobra calipers doing just that!
@notacarguy_2 жыл бұрын
Oof! Sorry to hear that. Did you have to get new ones or could they be salvaged?
@tallbozo2 жыл бұрын
@@notacarguy_ Had to get a reman caliper. Also had issues with the Banjo bolts not being long enough and different thread, so bought like 5 different ones to see what fit.

@@tallbozo Dang that's rough! My reman calipers ended up failing anyway. lol. You can't win.
