Some people might say " yeah he got it for free so of course everything worked out well" but I used stairbox for my dormer stairs a couple of years ago and they were great. I spent ages on the designer changing stuff because i had head height issues top and bottom and a top winder and it was great. Managed to get the stairs into a very precise area and the building inspector was more than happy. I even had the same delivery guy and he really is very helpful. It was my first attempt at fitting a stairs and it went in like a dream. Great series and a great channel, keep up the good work.👍

I've just fitted for a customer a Stairbox staircase with two 1/4 landings, oak newels and glass balustrades along with oak newels and glass balustrades for the landing. The quality was excellent and the delivery was exactly when they said it would be. Thoroughly recommend them.

Brilliant series. If im not mistaken the only 2 original features left, are the moulds at the bottom of the stairs and tiles under underneath. Well done STAIR BOX. Otherwise the moulds would have to go and that would have been a shame. 👍👍✌🇮🇪

I bought a oak staircase with glass balustrades a couple of years ago, they where very competitive with there price and it went together and fitted perfect. The only downside to Stairbox is if you forget, say a newel cap the delivery cost was something like £40/50 but that was my mistake not theirs. Oh and all deliveries are on their vehicles which is always a good sign.

Interesting as usual. Looks a great service from Stairbox all round. When Rich mentioned the 22mm thickness I thought, hold on, I live in a 1920s house with floorboards so would want 18mm. There are probably a lot of old houses now needing new stairs so possibly a trick they are missing but only doing 22mm. As an aside, have you seen your star appearance in the recent warmflow video?

Can the stairs be fitted before screed

In theory mate yes but you'll have to get absolutely everything bang on to the millimetre, if you get the height of the screed wrong then the first step will be a different height than the rest, which isn't ideal. If you can wait and do the screed first then that's the best way to do it.
