Currently watching this at 2:58 am on vacation in Poland waiting to get picked up to go carp fishing (Florida resident) got broken up with 5 months ago after a cruise with my ex of 6 years and this trip has been better then anything I could have imagined I’ve spent it partying with friends dancing with girls in clubs and hanging out with family I’m 120lbs down 315-195 22m 6’1 so my confidence is skyrocketed and I have so many goals I created for when I go back home in a week while I’ve been here I promise things will be much better I know it doesn’t seem like it but life is crazy every step of the way

Recently took that first step in admitting that my life wasn’t at a point I wanted it to be socially, work wise, relationship wise and mentally. Told my family and while shocked were totally on board with me telling them than keeping it bottled up even further and I finally went to see a doctor. These past few years have been rough as hell for sure with everything that’s been going on for me, I gained weight, I lost my girlfriend, I feel into a spiral of depression in my job but after telling people how I truly felt and now starting to go to the gym and going out more with friends I do truly hope this is a new start where I can bury the old me and work on a new and improved me.

yo thank u so much for making this video i been falling heavy off my comp swim routine of waking up early swimming and then going to gym for 2 hours, losing its meaning, losing grip of my goal. but this video makes me realize i might aswell try my best, because whats the point of giving up? according to my depressed thoughts, nothing matters. but if nothing matters, then why not just keep trying, atleast to entertain oneself. like, dude u only live once, why not just give it ur best shot, you can blink your eyes and years gone by knowing that you never tried your best, that you had more in you. so fuck it. im probably butchering the meaning of nihilism but if nothing matters then just fucking try.

Thank you for this, that's all very true. I love the phrase "time will go by anyway", it makes you think exactly what you said, " might as well try my best, because what's the point of giving up?" Ironic enough, shortly after making this video I fell into a depressed state for about 3 months because I felt like "whats the point?". But what really helped me was that way of thought. A F*** it, We Ball mentality. what also helped was being kind and loving to everyone around me, even strangers, I learned "The world is cruel, therefore I will not be".

I suggest you shut down your brain and either go for a walk or take a warm shower. Focus on sensing the world around you (the hot water on your skin, the sounds of a street/animals, the smell of nature etc). Sometimes we forget that we are not living in the future or the past and unfortunately create a now that won't be remembered by our future self. Also take some 4-4 deep breaths (count to 4 while inhaling, count to 4 while exhaling). Existing can be pretty fucking exhausting, but you are here and thats what matters!

I just want to say that Jesus loves all of you. I used to be agnostic and I was always questioning about the purpose of life and how we are here and I always wondered if there was a God or not. I went through a period where I was trying to find purpose and fulfillment in something and that was getting money and becoming a better version of myself. I was chasing it and I realized that it would also pass away anyway and that it doesn’t make sense for money or grinding to be my purpose. Not saying money is bad but it’s definitely not the purpose of life. But eventually I got more hooked into God and who the higher power really was and I actually had a supernatural encounter with the highest power and I can tell you it is Jesus is and that day I had it, it changed me and my heart from that day forever. It was the most joyful and at peace that I have ever felt in my entire life. I can tell you that Jesus can do the same for you and he can help you through anything you are facing now. Jesus is the one that can fulfil your true purpose in life. Following Jesus is not about a religion but a relationship with him. And Life is temporary and so is everything we chase on is as well but what is eternal, is your eternal life in heaven, and Jesus is the only way to get there. I believe that if you truly with your heart call on him he will reveal himself to you. I hope you seek the truth and seek a relationship with Jesus because he loves you and he died for you on the cross so you don't have to suffer for eternity. God bless you all
