So, i made this last night and it was really good. But you know what else i did? I finally bought the Cajun Two Step seasoning and listen people... It is truly next level. My Yankee ass has tried them all. All of the basic cajun spice mixes you see at the store. Tony Chachere's, Slap Ya Mama... all that. Hell, i even made my own (which was quite good). But Stalekrackers is BY FAR the best. It's not even close. you can taste the citrus in it. It's not just freaking salt with paprika like a lot of the others. I gotta hand it to Cracker. The Cajun Two Step is one of a kind. I can only assume all of the other products on this channel are of the same quality.
@soulessshadow53563 ай бұрын
I've used the Two Step, the Holy Trinity mix, the hot sauce, the crawfish boil, and the jambalya mix and they were all fantastic!

Old Justin Wilson used to tell jokes all the time. He told one that I never forgot. Old Boodro was driving down a country road in Louisiana when he thought he had seen a 3-legged chicken run across the road towards an old farm. He drove up to that farm and asked the old farmer if he saw a 3-legged chicken run by. The farmer said, "Well, yup, we raise 3 legged chickens." Old Boodro said, "Why do you raise 3 legged chickens?" The old farmer said, " well my wife likes chicken legs, my son likes chicken leg, I like chicken leg, so everybody gets a leg." Boodro asked, "well how do they taste?" The farmer said, "we don't know, we can't catch the damn things." For some reason, I never forgot that joke. Old JW was a legend. I'm pretty sure I saw every episode 3 times at least. Keep the videos coming, brother. Love ya, Kracker. PEACE ✌️

my mom's trick was to microwave for 30 seconds before putting it in the pan. works perfect for plain grilled cheese or one with extra fillings, gets the cheese starting to melt perfectly so you can focus on toasting the bread without having to worry about getting the cheese melted. doesn't need covering or anything while frying. I do mine up now in beef tallow instead of butter for that little beefy flavor
@MorpheusASmith9 ай бұрын
That sounds like a great idea, I honestly never considered it. Thank you for sharing.👌
