Yes but it was because of Clare this whole thing happened. She falsely accused Lucy's father of a crime from what we can see he was only trying to help Maddie. But she misjudged him instead of getting him investigated. Because of the accusations David lost his job and everyone thought he was guilty which drove him to drink, problems with his marriage, reputation shattered and he killed himself because of Clare. This caused Lucy's mother to become mentally unwell, Lucy's childhood ruined and made Lucy a killer.

Great movie..the actress maddy played also in the movie dating to kill out of 2019. The comment should be here..one person could destroy your whole life....everything you worked for and everything you have could be gone....by a single wrong person....and its True...a crime scene or other scene is often watching by the one who had the most hand in it...and often a killer is not far away....murder always comes with a big sweet smile....so stay alert and vigilant who you let in your life... Good movie. The end as a bit of a twist. The characters are believable, the props and scenarios are great the direction is good too. The plot is interesting and I am so glad that forensic was not made a joke because that staged murder scene would never be pulled off in real life.

She wouldn't of turned out to be a twisted killer. Claire didn't seem to realise the damage she done to Lucy's family. Although it doesn't justify Lucy's crimes but because of the damage Claire did with her accusations against David is what drove David to suicide infront of Lucy, Vanessa's mental health suffered after cleaning up David's blood and Lucy grew up completely disturbed childhood ruined. Claire should of had David investigated first before accusing him.

If the mother had gotten help beforehand than maybe she wouldn't have allowed her paranoia to get the best of her and Lucy's family wouldn't have been destroyed, which means she would've never have gone on a psychotic rampage in the first place. The worst thing is that the mother showed NO remorse or guilt for any of her actions and if you ask me, the mother has her head WAY too far up her ass to realize that paranoia and insecurities can cause more damage than good.

She destroyed Lucy's family because of her accusations against David. Although it doesn't excuse Lucy's crimes but the damage Claire done to Lucy's family is what made Lucy a twisted killer. Been honest she didn't seem to show any remorse for the damage she done.

But the damage that was done to Lucy's family and her childhood because of Claire was what caused the whole thing. When Claire found out the damage she done finding out David killed himself because of her, Vanessa's mental health suffered after cleaning up David's blood and Lucy grew up completely disturbed seening her father commit suicide infront of her growing up without her father and her mother unwell her whole childhood was ruined and that was all because of Claire's accusations against David she didn't even show much morals for her actions.
