Outf######rageous! Get a dashcam in your vehicle to film the surveillance vehicles. There will have been unmarked cars also following your vehicle. Review your footage regularly and you will spot the unmarked ones soon enough. Then you will probably notice them sitting outside your door. Keep a log of their activity in order to present it to court eventually. Their surveillance is over the top and unwarranted. It is harassment as people are allowed to undertake political activities promoting their political opinions without any police oversight, review, surveillance or supervision. Review the legislation on stop and search (NI) so you know your rights next time. You could have asked to be taken to the police station. That takes up police time, resources and a cell and PSNI won't like that. Once at the station you can also ask for a solicitor to represent you. You were detained, on the street, so you can ask for a solicitor (duty or your own). Inform your criminal solicitor about this and the need to have them attend the station in the future. Film all stop-and searches and PSNI activity against you.

This stop and search was conducted under the Justice and Security (Northern Ireland) Act 2007. Schedule 3, s24 allows for the search. Under s21, the police are allowed to question you to ascertain your identity. Failure to respond adequately is an offence. I don't come on to YT and make ill informed posts. I actually research the subject. Maybe you should have researched it too instead of displaying your ignorance?
