I love this game since day one, even with its flaws, but one thing(that I can live with) that it's like too much, is the fact that enemies can shoot at you with 100% accuracy and perfect grenades landings.

What I noticed with A-Life 2.0 is that they don't have enough campfires to gather and interact compared to A-life 1.0, I really miss the old system.

People new to the stalker universe still think A-life is just an enemy spawner, because that’s all stalker 2 gives them. It’s supposed to be so much more than just a generic deathmatch.

Everyone who played previous STALKER games knows that. We loved those games becaue of that. I played countless hours in Anomaly/GAMMA mod only thanks to A-Life.

Glad I waited for the initial A-Life fixes. The Zone feels as alive as its ever been. There are still a few blatant bugs like stalkers don't loot their kills but all the actions they do take are better than ever. I've seen stalkers check their maps before running for shelter. So awesome. I couldn't have gotten immersed without the distant gunfire, the stalkers showing up out of nowhere running from mutants, and the relief of friendlies coming to your aid. A-Life is essential to the experience for me.

The first thing I noticed is that every npc had a name which I would read them when I killed bandit groups.

Idk man. Shit is still spawning right up on me. Also could just be me but the enemies seem way tankier. I mean theyre eating 15 to 30 rounds each while lasering me with aimbot accuracy. Its honestly unplayable for me on console. The aiming with controller is STILL trash.

The aiming with a controller is fk brutal when I aim down sight my aim is all over the place even though I put the sensitivity all the way down, is so annoying and for me is the main reason why I took a break and haven’t played since like 2 weeks ago

My game: multiple infinite spawn points, laggs the game so bad depending on the enemy, multiple NPC stuck in place locking me out of finishing the game, NPC bandits with aim bot, 1 out of 3 shot are headshot. Even with shotguns out of range. It's still fun but certain parts of the game are becoming a headache. Found a spot where infinite spawning poltergeist and bandit had pinned me down from two side. Took me about an hour to realize what was going on and decided to just eat some flying cans an a few bullets through all the lag.

Yeah I’m constantly getting enemy spawns like directly behind maybe 20 meters or less and sometimes I’ve even seen bandits spawn directly in front of me so I’m not sure what’s going on with this patch but it’s pretty bad still

I love the game and it is deffinitely getting better, however, I currently have 6 quests in my journal, 1 is the main quest, 2 are for the arena and 3 are side quests that are bugged and cannot be finished. That's pretty messed up.

It's both good and bad. Whilst it's good the Zone seems more alive. It gets a bit irritating that you can't explore areas without multiple enemies appearing one after another in said area. It's frankly too busy in areas. It's meant to be a mostly abandoned and sparsely area of extreme danger. That feels busier than my home city at rush hour. It needs further tuning.😊

Personally, I'd say if you wanted what was promised, I'd wait longer. i have a save with 100 hours on it, and I can't be in rostok for more than a minute without crashing on series x

​@@mitchellsmirh3259luck of the draw, I only had one single crash during my late hundreds playthrough (I'd have to check what it was) and that one crash was during the first few hours, on the day one release of the game, never crashed after that point luckily, but I've since started a new playthrough, to really experience this first iteration of A-life 2.0, they still need to update it tho

Games definitely better now but iam still having the problem with people spawning 5 foot in front of me time to time and lighting me up before I get the chance to move nother problem they can see u way to easy ill be behind a tree and they see me a mile a way

Sadly atm NPC's don't loot, and their trade items are all presets, not real-world pickups or even variations.

I usually go up and start a conversation with them. Eventually it prompts them to move.

The last two patches broke my game especially today’s patch, patch broke Xbox I’m about to quit the game because of it. It was working decent two weeks ago for me were I thought its was a good time except some bugs but now it’s garbage.

The game still stutters and freezes, not worth playing at the moment. Dropping frame rates every 30 minutes. Give it another 6 months, hopefully the game will then be in a playable state.

Me and several others deleted the game in Ireland on series x, the weapon wheel wont always open, after so many updates and still cant select weapons wheel
