Stalker 2 Attack at the duga bug fix

This got me farther! I really had to allow the Ward NPCs to be ahead of me. The key seemed to be having them enter the courtyard well ahead of me.

The courtyard is so sensitive. You go in too early you get a bug or sniped without warning

I died during the fight with Faust and on repeats I am not having success getting that far again.

@AlanMeigs you probably need to go back one save. That last save probably got bugged. It took me all day to work around the bugs and the fighting

@AlanMeigs i also took off right after Faust knocks you down and I just heal and run and energy drink

I was able to get thorugh this awful mission! I started from before sleeping. Follow the videos directions. I managed to save 5 NPCs and they all set up in the courtyard before I even entered that area. This seemed sufficient to trigger the Faust fight.

So I had a chat with the dude on the ground floor, went for a good nights sleep and after waking up I had a colourful variety of three different outcomes. First, random npc stands in the doorway and I can't get out the buildingf, I can't even clear the door with a grenade as they just disappear. Second, I get out, follow the pointer and the npc I need to meet is not there. Or third, he's two meters up in the air. Either way, I was not getting anywhere in this scripted mess. At that point I ditched the main story. Life in the zone is so much better without all the cutscenes anyway.

Thats funny but if you went back to sleep it might have reset. It did for me

@@Toad2Dope I decided to revisit through an old save to check on things, I completely forgot that after waking up there seems to be some dialogue going on but gets interrupted. Npc was blocking the way, I crouched jumped to get past him, mission pointer takes me left, no one there. I ran to the truck as you did and after engaging in with the Monoliths for a bit the invincible group up the hill joined in and the quest progressed, WOW! So I went back to my future save, made my way back to Duga again, talked to the first guy, went to bed, door was blocked so another crouched jump to get out. And now, pointer took me right, where there was a group of soldiers standing by that fancy KrAZ, immediately starting an offensive as I approached them. No talkies, no messages, straight into it off they go. I shot the PSI candles, waited for the helli crash and from then on it was going smoothly-ish. One PC reset later (memory leaked), I finished this mission. Hurrah! Anyway, thanks for your video. Helped a lot. 👍

@@Toad2Dope Oh yeah, I couldn't go back to bed as it becomes non interact able after I wake up till the mission is over.

I bugged in a really annoying way. When I finished the mission to retreive back Skif's artifact I simply became immortal. Even drowning or jumping from a high place wont kill me. Someone know how fix this bug?

Same thing. You have to go back a few saved before it got bugged. I did not encounter that bug myself but the list seems to be endless.

Im "Securing the check point" Faust never spawns the enemy's were never Faust and everyone is just not moving. 3 monolith guys walked in and i killed them now nothing is happening. Can't leave the compound cause I get insta killed... what is this game lmao

It is the temu version of fallout lol. So you got the bug early on of which their are an insane amount of. You would need to reload a save point before you got to the building, rhe tiny one woth soldiers, where the video starts, and try again. If you approach the building and their are soldiers standing down the street, go to sleep in the cot normally fixes the bug but only if you do it before the mission starts. So if the army dude who starts the mission isn't in that tiny room woth the cot, don't talk to him until he is.

Did you go back to before any part of the mission started.

Yes frist first there was one guard blocking the door then the game crash after slepping

Try to go back a save or two before as you have the bug. I know that sucks
