The thing that makes this game the scariest is the feeling of uneasiness it induces by constantly stuttering when I zoom my AR and for the game breaking bugs that make some quests impossible to finish. Also the RNG involved when you ALT+TAB out of it to look for workarounds to finish said buggy quests, not knowing whether or not the game will be frozen when you come back. The Zone is one really spooky place indeed.

ClearSky is definately my favorite game. I get all action, horror and even some comedy in other games but they lack one very important thing that made ClearSky one and only for me. It was war between the factions and possibility to join each faction, including bandits and be thrown into these missions and fights was just awesome, specially with playing with bandits, they get hit hard from all sides. :) Kind of making the game alive with all chaos going on all over the the zone. I hope they will bring THAT to Stalker 2 with all these new factions including smaller factions such as Renegades, in my eyes that would make Stalker 2 best shooter ever made in history of gaming. :)

3:50 the fun fact is... you don't actually have to fight him. It's the instinct to do so, I know, we're conditioned by games to kill every monster that comes our way, and I did so the first time too, but... you don't actually have to do it. Don't have to waste a single bullet. Just run on past him towards your objective and you'll be good. He'll be stopped by the junk you jump over by the fence. You don't actually have to fight most of mutants in this game. And it's quite often more economical (ammo, weapon & armour wear and tear) to not fight them, just run away / past them. You get nothing for killing them, just waste ammo.

The Bloodsuckers were used better in the old games, i think. They were introduced later in the game, were a LOT rarer and didn´t eat the entire US defense budget to take down. They always were dangerous af and could shred you with ease, but a good double tap from a shotgun would take em out.

@ people hate on the games from the ps3 era because they’re a bit clunky and not as polished as the Kiwamis or 6 but IMO 5 is the best in the series and 3 is a close second. If you don’t mind the clunk their stories, characters and side activities are the best. I highly recommend playing the original ps2 versions of 1 and 2, especially 2 because they cut out a small extra map in the remake

@@strifehp it can be fun if you modify the settings right. but its a hard modpack for stalker anomoly. (a mod that combines the first three games into a open world that has monster hunter style seperations between maps you can explore.) that adds 508 more mods on tope of that. its what i consider to be THE stalker experiance. youll truly feel what its like to be some gopnik in the woods of the zone with a busted up gun and a dream of enough money to make your own base (there is base building and tons of other cool mechanis) just make sure to go through all the mod settings and the different settings to customize your gameplay. i personally have it so loot naturally spawns in chaests and i can loot any body instead of just ones i kill (yea thats also a mod. if you dont kill them the person that did claims the body and you cant loot it. i turned that off)

@ it is totally different experience and immersion, when for the pathfinding you should look in tablet, pad, no ammo count, no health bar - you should feel when you die, you should be aware of the sound of Geiger sensor, like IRL. Perception is totally different with no hud, cross, compass and item indicators. After each raid you literally want to smoke something and sit around the fire, go to sleep at night etc, you should search around the corpses for the loot with no compass, you should immagine where can be the stash, you explore locations, every corner with no item indicator, and yes, after the intro you continue the show like it supposed to be, I think.
