@@Sout96_ A 64km map for Stalker 2, let's be clear, I love metro, they have always had pioneering graphics, in fact I am getting the first ones remastered and they have nothing to envy of current games. But Stalker doesn't play on the graphics, it's the realism and the interest of the game that take precedence. Looting a weapon in Metro ok, looting a new weapon in Stalker is still way above.

I think Metro Exodus is the overall better looking game. I have no idea what's going on in Stalker 2, but once you are inside a building the game always gives me the same vibes the Half Life 2 engine gave me 20 years ago. 20 years ago that was good, today..? Not so much. I think it's something with the way how light works in this game in combination with some models that look like they belonged in an older game. I find that especially noticable with humans in this game. They look like they were from a remaster instead of a new game. Stalker has obviously the superiour engine but these flaws are what kinda ruins the visuals for me during my playthrough. It's like high resulution textures on "low polygon character models" or something, I don't know. It's hard to describe what bugs me, bug something with the visuals really really bugs me personaly and it bugs me so much that I consider it the main thing that ruins the experience for me.

Metro Exodus was such a great game with amazing atmosphere ... I noticed the sound design seemed more realistic with Stalker 2.. I was getting surrounds and thought noises were in my apartment or outside , but I'm a little stoned.. S2 has great sound.. the indoors was so muted compared to outside where the pistol shot reverberated back to you at the speed of sound (virtually)

@@russia4biden221 I've done all the Metro games and I've already played S.T.A.L.K.E.R. for 17 hours. 2, I only encountered minor bugs that don't break the game, the real downside is the optimization, I manage to run it in good quality without too much trouble but an entry-level PC doesn't do that. This will clearly not happen, yet I am far from having the latest generation components.

I like Metro for its linear design and intensity. Stalker II gets outrageous at times and the stick drift is awful. They need to implement deadzones. I will say the graphics are insane. Luckily, I have Ukrainian friend who mailed me a copy. The game is still under investigation here in, Russia. PC is too outrageously priced for me. Bro metro straight up has better graphics the only thing stalker has over metro is lighting the lighting in stalker 2 looks amazing but thats only because they are relying on lumen which is basically raytracing. This also means darker environments in stalker 2 look terrible the torch in stalker 2 doesn't even cast shadows and the weapon models and npc models in metro look way better. Water physics and the look of water is better in exodus. I have always been a stalker fan i hated metro 2033 thought it was a boring game but saying stalker looks better is factually incorrect the biggest problem with stalker isn't even the graphics its the performance it runs like ass whilst looking worse than metro exodus with raytracing enabled.

What did you base your hilarious opinion on? The video in 1080p with lots of compression artifacts? Seems more like your issue is that Stalker won't run on your almost 10 years old, outdated GPU while your 5 year old game runs okay on it.

Stalker 2 is better but after bug fixes , optimization and less sharp objects
