stalker 2 is such a disappointment like ffr and such poorly optimized

My only complaint about the SH2 Beretta is that it sounds like it's being shot pressed into a pillow.

In the attacks, I think the Titans and Hoplite figting in the original was better. I also like Arkantos original scream better but that may just be nostalgia. Now the textures and details in retold are amazing.

Got nearly done with stalker 2. Dropped it and went back to metro.

never played the STALKER games but i wish i could (unfortunately i learned nothing good about the new game) . that's why i am here. except for some animations and textures, that's crazy how the first STALKER has well aged like "fine wine" , the ambiance is still chilling

Yeah metro exodus is slightly lower quality but at least it doesn't need an rtx4090 for just 60fps

Even now, Metro Exodus (regardless of Enhanced Edition or not) still look great.

I love both games but I think that Metro Exodus is way better than stalker 2 (My opinion) Even though I still think that stalker 2 is a good game, I prefer the original games, and it's not because of nostalgia. It's just stalker 2 Just isn't that good of a game, especially because it runs like absolute dog shit, also, I saw a comment on here. I can't find it though, just want to clear something up that I saw a few people saying in the comments, Yes, stalker is based on a book called roadside picnic and also based on a movie called stalker, Metro is also based on a book called Metro 2033, to me, it's kind of crazy that some people call themselves fans of this stalker series, but don't even know simple stuff like that

Just bought metro exodus and it's running really well on my pc (I5 10400f 1660super) high quality, stays above 110 fps. One thing I don't understand is why new releases need such powerful GPU just to look slightly better.

Im keep going back to play metro again and again, absolute classic, but i love stalker too

Даже спустя почти 5 лет как вышла игра Метро Исход, по графике ни чем не хуже Сталкера 2. Думаю когда выйдет новый Метро, она будет в разы лучше Сталкера

metro is a better game hands down. Not a buggy mess, patches dont break the game, and enemies dont shoot you through walls

We're at peak Graphics, so all that's left is improving games and quality that's. Anymore than it'll just be a empty project of cash grabs with no improvements, and that's in all games. (My Opinion)

both games are great, but i think over all stalker 2 is better imo. Stalker just feels more alive and lived in (weird seeing how it takes place in abandoned exclusion zone but that's beside the point) It more immersive, it feels like your there living through it and making decisions on your own, toughing it out. Metro feels more like a story (which it is) Its more linear and scripted, which is great for story telling, but does leave the game feeling semi empty at times, along with it limiting your freedom.

If a shooter game got cross for aiming on screen then it is crap!

I give Metro the win because even though I wasnt a huge fan of it I was actually able to start it in less than an hour and without 5 crashes. Also, once in the game going to the options menu didnt have a 10 second delay. Also I could get more than 40 FPS in low settings.

I don't care what anyone says about either of these games, it's peak fiction.

I love metro every single one theyre easily my favorite post apocalyptic games but stalker 2 was my very first rpg game and I throughly enjoyed it I had almost 72 hours in before finishing my first play through while I beat exodus in about 8 hours

Stalker 2 instantly reminded me of Exodus: Exodus graphics still look good, the raytacing does its job and doesnt cost much peformance, Stalker 2 is a bit of a mess. The atmosphere is great in both games, Exodus switches settings alot, Stalker 2 has the Zone. The story in Exodus is great, you feel the great train journey, havnt finished Stalker 2 yet but there is no Anna... Sadly I had some bugs with the PC controls in Exodus and the constant very scripted sections and always the same dumb scripted enemies where annoying. Exodus has some open world but its basically on rails. Stalker 2 isnt a finished game yet, hope they iron out the kinks and add great DLC.

some say metro is linear come on. in stalker u get those crazy fps drops every once in a while when u have bunch of NPC around or you enter a new area while in metro the areas are massive like volga forrest desert etc pretty close to open world. graphics in metro doesnt look much better on the video, but when i played metro enhanced edition it was very nice looking. and stalker doesnt look much different from the original stalker from 2000 something... its a shame. better textures and thats it. i think metro looks better still. i have ryzen 9 with 4070 and get around 120-140 fps in epic1080p outside of the camps and it drops down to 40-50 in the camps. and its just a big dissapointment i dont believe they would ever fix all the bugs it has and improve performance. look at metro same devs who created stalker 1, the game was amazing from release. even cyberpunk was more stable and had less bugs when released. rip stalker i will quickly finish the story and forget this game like a nightmare and probably get back to the old stalkers.

I didn't think Metro Exodus could hold up so well graphically alongside a game running on Unreal Engine 5. But honestly, it’s a testament to how good the game engine the studio used was at the time.

I had a blast playing metro ! Stalker 2 is more like a job/ chore ! Scrubbing a toilet is more fun !

Stalker 2 в техническом плане одна из самых слабых игр за последнее время. С Metro вообще не сравнима. Metro и по графике и по механике и по сюжету на порядок выше качеством.

С одной стороны - сравнение некорректное по той причине, что Метро делали талантливые люди, любящие свой проект, а Свалкер 2 делали шизоиды. С другой стороны - хорошо, что сравнение проведено, ведь благодаря ему Каллкер 2 в очередной раз заслужено макнули головой в дерьмо.
