We need a new metro game, I’ve played 2033 redux and exodus and they were absolutely amazing.

i`d like some open world game on Exodus engine with radiation, anomalies, artifacts, survival, repair, mutants, factions and gear progression.

I don’t even got to watch this video to tell you metro looks better. One is open world survival the other is a linear adventure.

I played Metro Exodus at launch, and it was not a flawless lauch, as for Stalker 2 right now, but hope it will be polished in time, just how Exodus was.

Stalker is an open world (A HUGE open world)like new Zelda. Metro is a pseudo-quasi map divided into sectors like BG3. The comparison is crap then. Stalker has VERY GOOD DETAILS for an open world. And it should be compared to other open worlds, not games for children and dad gamers from tiktok who have no idea about computer games.

Metro 100%. Especially considering you don't need crazy hardware and it still looks better imo. Looting: Both have clean animations but metro has more fluid ones and the details...Notice how the lockers kind of bend back a little after being pulled open. But the box didn't (the weight of the metal stops it from bouncing). Footprints: Metro has minor ripples but good god S2 looks terrible, like ps2 level... Weapons : Could have used a little better example for S2 but metro doesn't have obnoxious shake and the shake and animations are clean. Also the sound, Jesus it sounds actual. S2 just looks and sounds like COD...metro if you zoom you can kinda see the rounds. Water physics: Yeah both pretty bad but S2 wins here even if it does look a little generic. Characters: Metro. Much more fluid and sync also her eyebrows and eye shift adds a little emotion. S2 looks surprisingly bad :[ but both are a little lacking. Details: S2 has nice physics and the bullet holes look nice but metro still holds up especially the water containers. But both are a little meh S2 lighting doesn't change when firing. Reload: The click on empty is nice in S2 but it lacks that kick. Theres some smoke but hardly any or spark. Metro lacks the empty click but look at the spark (which sells the makeshift weapon) as well as the smoke residue that changes color with the near fire and other lighting. Nice attention to detail. Texture: Bricks S2 nice, but almost a little too nice with context. Metro would be better if a higher quality. S2 water here kind of looks like generic "Water move" skyrim like. Metro looks muddy and calm, as it would be. It moves as it should, and the particles are solid and fit very well. S2 skybox takes the cake. Grass to be expected considering metro story but both fit well. Fire: Again S2 just looks too pretty like those skyrim character mods, metro looks like a used and burning barrel S2 just looks saturated. like metro you can see the metal color/soot change from bottom to top. Glass S2 definitely looks a little more pretty but hardly. Thanks I really love videos like this to appreciate the art and craft of games. To appreciate the work and details most might miss.

Both the Stalker series and the Metro series are amazing games, both were really well made. They both carry the Eastern European post apocalyptic setting at it's highest, both in story and in setting. If you haven't, you should really read or listen to the Metro books, they are masterpieces in their own right.
