It being pretty and the sound design are about the only redeeming qualities. Game was released broken with an entire major mechanic/system missing, GSC lied and Deceived people by removing information about the game before release and putting embargo’s on early reviews, they knew they were about to sell garbage. Only people glazing this game are completely new players to the stalker franchise or hardcore copers. I put my faith into GSC with a $118 preorder just to quit playing the game after 17 hours and go back to the OG trilogy, about the beat SOC again and move to clear sky again because stalker 2 is boring and a downgrade from the old games except for the graphics and sound.

Well, playing Metro feels like an AAA experience. Playing stalker, although very fun and a great experience(60 hours so far), feels very janky. The game is really good, but its not a smooth experiencve. I just click Alt + f3, change the gamma settings a bit with some sharpness and the game looks like crisp af.

I really like the water effect on the screen in Exodus. Which makes sense since you're wearing a mask all the time. I think I have a mask in Stalker right now and it doesn't have that effect. Metro overall felt nicer with the equipment/tools usage specially the arm wristband thingy + combat and weapons/ammo felt way more balanced and intriguing to play. stalker 2 it's like you're softlocked of everything but have abundant ammo/consumables for every gun in the world but have to sell it all the time for barely any money with the janky inventory auto sorting.

Overtime stalker 2 will greatly overachieve Metro Exodus. Once the modders het their full hands on S2, it's going to evolve to something very amazing! I don't give a damn about the whole Ukraine war issue thing going on on the other side of the world, if NATO just died back when it was supposed to in the 90s after the Soviet Union fell we would have never had this issue to begin with. With that said, stalker has some serious bug issues which a lot has been fixed already, but I must admit that on a 4K screen TV with the graphics maxed out on my pc, this game looks absolutely gorgeous. There are a lot of issues with the lighting of course still, the dlss really blurs things up, but it's still got something right where I could take a picture of some of the scenes in this game and share it with others, only for others to think that it's a genuine photo, asking me where I was. That's pretty wild

Metro Exodus 2019 and S.T.A.L.K.E.R.2 2024, so what, the big difference is how far the gaming industry has come)) At the same time, I ran Metro Exodus on average settings on the gtx780 quite comfortably. You can't play S.T.A.L.K.E.R.2 comfortably without frame generation and other improvizers if you don't have 3080 or higher! So compare the graphics quality (it's minimal) and the huge difference in performance/cost of hardware! You're being milked like dumb cows!

I really love both game's Dreary, Dark and Moody atmosphere. They botb represent the post apocalyptic and abandoned feeling very well. The only thing I do personally prefer of STALKER over METRO is the weapons in general. I am *PERSONALLY* not a big fan of Fictionalized weapons of METRO. But i wont deny that they do fit into the game. I just prefer realistic weapons I guess.

Metro is overall a better game compared to Stalker 2 and Stalker is a better exploration game compared to Metro. Exploration: Stalker 2 Environment: Stalker 2 Stealth: Metro Exodus Game Variety: Metro Exodus Graphics: Cant literally compare bcz one is made in UE4 2018 and other one is UE5 2024 Story: Metro Exodus hands down Gameplay: Both bcz they are so many laggy Textures & lighting: Stalker 2 cz of UE5 Character Designs like NPCs: Metro. So much Realistic NPCs. Soundtracks: Love them both for SOT

Ну об'єктивно сталкер 2 краще, але вийшов пізніше, і метро загалом нічим не гірша, дві чудові гри, які подарували нам українські розробники 💜
