Anomaly may not be the STALKER GSC released, but it's the STALKER the community has pretty much grown around. I don't see anything wrong with comparing what the community has right now, to what's going to be released in a few months, versus comparing STALKER 2 to Pripyat, a game that's close to two decades old at this point and isn't anywhere near the proper representation of current STALKER fanbase.

Doesn't Anomaly have an option in settings to show animations of using items? In the Expedition, Gamma and EFP mod packs there are the animations of items 100% Nice video though, thank you

There's an "Item used animation" setting, but in the video, the items I showed didn't have these animations. It's possible that the animations exist for other items. For example, in the original game, when you open the map, you don't hold a device in your hand.However, as seen at 00:15 we do hold the item in our hand.

in Anomaly itself no, its added by animation mod, that is already in Gamma, EFP and etc from the start.

stalker would have nowhere near the amount of popularity it does without anomaly, the only thing that has kept the game alive is mods and the original games literally require mods that fix game breaking bugs just to complete a playthrough

@@theolduniverse I like vanilla more than the majority of mods too but if you actually research the development of SOC you'd know it was released in an unfinished state and drastically changed multiple times before release. If vanilla was good enough for people to get into it, 1. it wouldn't need community curated fixes and 2. it wouldn't have the modding scene that it does.

Based on my research, it seems that the gaming community largely prefers playing the Anomaly mod over the base game, which is why I chose to compare it. I wanted to compare one of the best versions of the game with the new release. However, I might have been mistaken, as it seems most people would rather see a comparison with the original game.

They need to fix this stupid bullets comming out of eye (camera)! This is ridiculous! Bullets come out of the screen center instead of firearm barrel! WHAT THE F|_|CK?! They must know that not only total noobs and casuals will play this game but also firearms enthusiasts! Casuals will never notice that as they are mentally blind for such details and lack of firearms knowledge so |= them! But true firearms enthusiast feel sick in stomach when seeing such idiocracy in games! 🤢

also, when using a scope only the view in the scope should zoom in, not the entire screen, but unfortunately it's the way the majority of the games do the scopes

Older games in majority of cases had this simplified and used "hit scan" but technology moved forvard and more powerful hardware was able to do more calculations. So game devs of some games that were not straight arcadey implemented ballistics where bullet physically moves in game world. Also in close to modern times some more games even arcadey ones added ballistics and weapon model barrel was the start of a projectile. So in games that are modern and use dumb ecreen centre projectile start point are straight retarded. You as a casual and someone who lacks in knowledge may totally ignore such lazy game development but not a true gamer like me that played games for ages now. Maybe you are just simple ignorant. That is why maybe you will learn something or be still a ignorant. You decide.
