Broken game without it. Massive failure without this, as this IS the game... A life is NPCs having a life of their own in this large world. Enemies simply spawn in now. If you have a sniper scope and try to zoom to see what is ahead, all is empty, When you get closer to a base magically enemies appear and attack you, why even have a sniper or a scope so early if all is broken, let us run around with a knife and pistol for first two weeks and we wont know!

then you probably wont be playing it. Im going based on what I have seen so far and it doesnt look good... I dont think there is A-Life and I dont think it will ever be implemented. The game is heavily demanding on your hardware as is and A-Life is also very demanding so imagine what that will look like if they do implement it... Additionally, this isnt the X-Ray engine. X-Ray worked really well with A-Life but I dont think the same can be said for UE5. I have played for over 30 hours so far and the zone is dead, lifeless, and just an open world with nothing in it and it sucks. I think they basically lied and they know that they cant implement it in the same way they did under the X-Ray engine. Even if it is true that it is in fact there, it is likely to take a very long time to implement and I am willing to bet it will greatly affect performance which would push players who dont have top tier hardware away... Many new players are coming into the game and are loving it but that is likely because they dont know what Stalker was and what we expect of it. Im pretty angry that the developers made this game in the way they did... it feels generic and feels nothing like the Stalker I know. Maybe I am wrong but I just dont have a good feeling about this at all and as time goes on people will migrate away from Stalker 2 and back to Anomaly, GAMMA, and the various other mods that were done so well.

Playing games in a state at release and being fixed later is so soul destroying especially when you want to love the experienece. Leaving games for a year or two post release and getting them better and cheaper was best consumer decision I ever made. Only got this as game pass so let it slide and do love it but holding off after 30 hours. Will be my GOTY, in 2026. (Currently at mission with constant infinite spawning enemies, with 5 further missions unpassable, not including missions highlighted on map not on journal and to even go on the mission had to avoid one side of the chemical plant to not get stuck in a loop with a dude at the gate. Please avoid for now, if you haven't seen bugs you will at the mid point)

They lied and they've been continuing to lie when asked through not very plausible excuses, vague deflections etc. If they were honest about it being non-functioning or non-existant, and released the game as an Early Access, I think people would be more understanding given their circumstances in Ukraine. With their current approach of dodging responsibility, it just comes off as manipulative and dishonest instead.

Not picking this game up again till it’s in the game. The world is so boring and lifeless without it. Why would I care about traveling safe if there’s nothing in between me and the mission. Just walking simulator. Boring asf. Im sick of unfinished games.

The game is so messed up they just dropped a 38gb PATCH tonight. 38gb is the biggest 'patch' I've seen in my entire life. Could of saved the Hindenburg with a patch that size.

I started to realise that there is no bands of npcs walking into "safe zones" and out of them. And no missions outside of preset missions. Did The old AI collect and complete thier own missions? I mean it was so active and was Alive even when it was empty where you was

God I'm happy that I've waited to buy the game. With all this A-Life stuff I'll not buy until it's fix for sure. For me Stalker is A-Life, without it it's a Fallout a bit more creepy.

Actually there's no problem to implement it, A-life is a pretty simple background script as long as you keep it in offline mode... The online mode isn't too intensive either if you code npc's correctly and make sure they group up into groups of 5 max, and that no more than 3-4 of said groups can meet around the player. The problem is that modern devs can't code for shit, especially this team which is made of newbies and a very greedy boss (the original team all left for Metro and survarium, so literally the only thing that makes this slop 'stalker' is that their boss got to pocket the IP)

what about the terrible random frame drops down to sub 10fps. Ive had that happen like 10 times now. Also my game minimized to windows and i wasnt able to interact with said window , had to force close

Like how am I not getting the insta kill with a headshot 😂 it's not call of duty or battlefield. It's a survival sim that is realistic, so one bullet should only be needed, the recoil and weapon spread is god awful.

I don´t get it. Yes the Studio had some really hard time with the war and everything but that is way there is on option sell your game in a state like this called "Early access". As the author of the video mentioned it´s not like bugs and performance issues, it is a major feature of the game... Just be honest, say it is an early access game and you sell it less then full price, that would have been fair

Cara, tá insuportável tentar jogar esse game. Eu estava com umas 15h de jogo, e agora numa missão principal, não posso mais avançar. Meus saves são todos após essa missão, então eu teria que recomeçar tudo do zero. Meu pda informa que as tarefas da missão foram todas completadas, porém não diz o que fazer após isso, eu rastreio a missão e ela não aparece no mapa. E tentando falar com o pessoal da missão, não acontece nada. Fora o fato de estar dentro de algum prédio e inimigo me ver através da parede, cachorro spawnar atrás de mim, inimigos extremamente burros, que ao me verem não fazem nada, daí chego perto e do atiram em mim, mas assim..sem motivo mesmo kkk pq um minuto atrás eu estava do lado deles de boa. Daí eles resolvem virar npcs inimigos. E agora saiu esse update, mas foi apenas pra pc. Xbox continua quebrado, Impossível de jogar. Eu tava defendendo esse game e agora estou com raiva e vou até desinstalar

Not a surprise. The devs clearly needed to get the game out on a schedule, so it's not done. Quarterly earnings are what drive issues like this. It's still an engaging game, but I'll play other things until this game is out of what is essentially an early release beta.

Man I'm stuck in the saw mill they haven't fixed the mission yet it still bug on Xbox which really sucks I really like the Gome but I'm lock out of so much and all I can do is go and get stash and get gear and weapons I mite stop playing for a while in the hopes that they'll fix it so I can finish playing since I'm so farin I don't want to start all over Even after the update when live I'm still unable to do the saw mill mission the cutscene doesn't trigger I just randomly appear in the saw mill barn but I'm jst stuck there I can't leave can't trade and have no dialog option's

Its a great game and will be improved eventuallty. Its funny to see comments about how its unfinished, yet heavy hitters like Cyberpunk or Dying Light 2 were the same. And now they are brilliant games. Its just empty talk and noise.
