Render distance, the more the quality, the more the textures are defined. They load the trees in once you get closer so your game don’t tweak out

The lighting is definitely better on Quality mode, but I think for a game like this I'll be going Performance with my VRR tv. I could do Quality/30 FPS for Silent Hill 2, but for a shooter I prefer 60. It would be nice if they eventually split the difference and gave us a "balanced" mode with 40 FPS or something like that.

It is developed in Unreal Engine 5 but you must work well with the engine to truly extract its quality, it is not a problem with the engine but with how they work on it, Silent Hill 2 uses Unreal Engine 5 and looks much better technically than this game.

I own a 4080 build and a 3090 build and it’s honestly funny to here PC people’s hubris in there voices when they do a comparison of there glorious computers hardware versus a PS5 or Series X currently in 2024 I CHOOSE to only play games on Series X, I’m serially selling my PC in tired of NONE of these games being optimized for PC , I’m tired of constant immersion breaking nonsense like micro stutters, frame drops and crashes. Every PC I have ever played on even my friends “premium” 4090 build the best intel CPU money can buy simply can not flawlessly run a simple game like call of duty like you just can’t ever since I switched to series x I have not experienced ONE SINGLE crash or any stuttering or rubber banding of any kind and this honestly applies to basically every single game I have ended up playing on series x I always have a better experience on the console than on the PC, the PCs are like having a brand new Ferrari and you can only drive it on a race track that’s littered with potholes and debris everywhere the massive amount of money you spend make you have confirmation bias because you believe the monetary value of your computer hardware means a better experience it’s simply not true. Yes PC DOES HAVE better graphics but I swear to god most people won’t even know the difference at first glance

the color palette between quality mode vs performance/Series S is different. I prefer the quality color palette because it looks photo realistic to my eye. Performance is the way to go for me but I will try quality first. Starfield at 30fps felt good to me on the Xbox series x so I will give it a try

I hate when games have english dub but use regular English voices instead of ones relevant to the story... So immersion breaking when a medieval french villager has a english accent (A plague tale) or a Ukrainian has an english accent. Was hoping it was going to be like Metro... Perfect english dub. I normally play games with original language but sometimes (like with metro) so many people are talking at once, the subtitles only does one person, so you miss so much dialogue. That's why I play metro in english)

Dead zones are way too small. If you have the slightest stick drift this game sends you all over the place. I have an elite series 2 with very slight drift, any other game it's not noticeable but this game is hardly playable 😅

Particle effects and anomalies look already bad on the X, but the S is done. Also X performance mode seem to have a lighting problem. Thats what you get if you don't bake in decent lighting and rely only on real time garbage rendering and then deactivate it in performance mode. Making game look like a flat woman....
