TIP: Make sure when you are on the moddb page for Atmospherics that you scroll down to the description and click "read more", this will show you the 3 versions (GAMMA, Vanilla, EFP). I made a mistake and it was because I simply clicked "Download now" on the Atmospherics mod which was the GAMMA version and I wanted EFP. Anyway, thanks for the guide Hippo!

Worked great first try, good clear instructions. I think you've nailed the defaults, really natural look- saturation is great, not overly bloomed like some shader/reshades that look great in screenshots but I find fatiguing or distracting during gameplay. Fantastic work, really should be the default for EFP in my opinion!

If your game crashes and you're using SSS modded exe's, try using demonized's exe's instead (ones in this guide), worked for me.

Thanks alot mate. This still works as of today. I wanted to play EFP specifically for Warfare because sadly GAMMA does not officially support it and I really disliked the green grass EFP has growing all over the Zone. This fixes that and also fixes the temporal stability quite a bit.

I'm having issue with the reshade. I'm missing some of the options such as TFAA.fx and prod08_02_Bloom. I also can't change my displaydepth due to their being no Global settings option to change the values. Plus since the update emmisions blow out through walls in all colours of the rainbow.

As for questions everything went fine but indoor and outdoor shadows are completely pitch black without a flashlight I'm blind tried fixing it via console and it doesn't work.

not sure if i did something wrong but i downloaded reshade and can open it up at the main menu but theres nothing in the home tab and it says No effect files (.fx) found in the configured effect search path. everything is set up correctly

when i went to my instance folder, it didnt have anomaly in it. i tried loading the game without doing the delete reshade part and installing reshader because i couldn't find an instance folder with anomaly in it for me to delete the reshade from, though i found it in the base anomaly game folder, (i also already had the exes) and it seems like its working.. should i be fine? playing anomaly 1.5.2

Thanks for the guide! I have everything working fine, except for storms climates. When a thunder happens, the flash makes the sky and everything goes too bright. What could be the problem? Edit.. Nevermind, it seems there is a bug in the debug mode when changing climates that causes this issue. So everything is fine!

I follow up all your indications but my game don't look like the graphic showcase at the begining... it looks like I don't have any type of antialiasing (i see all very edgy) and the colors are a lot of vibrant, there is anithing I can do to solve it? Thank you!

SSR is for a very old mod called SSR which was later made useless by SSS. SSR (mod) is not used at all.

hi, i'm having a little problem. i've downloaded same mods before with anomaly etc and never had that problem, but basically i deleted shader cache folder, and after that i keep getting "shader compilation failed" error, only way to fix it is when i launch the game through folder .exe, but then even if that's fixed i'll have a really dark screen when using atmospherics and it's requirements mods, before i used some console command to fix it but i have no idea what command it is nor i can find it.

Trying to install today as well - I couldn't get my EfP to look the way I wanted, so opted to use this, as Custer does too. Getting the same error, and I can confirm it's Atmospherics specifically. When I disable it, the game launches fine. Updating SSS to version 20 got rid of the error, but also having a black screen then. Guess will need to play without atmos until fix arrives.

hello! made as you said for vanilla anomaly, it’s working and im glad, but some problems with textures is here: pda, when you take it in hads covered with white filer, sometimes textures on the corners of the screen do not load or are light gray, same in bushes, but always. it’s playable, but be better if someone knows how to fix it all :D

Did all of this while also trying to get the exact same versions (since in modDb i think previous versions of mods are not available, only latest) shown in video but so far my Vanilla Anomaly turns black and cant see anything, only the ui is visible. I think the incompatibilty is the latest version of Atmospherics, as if i launch the game with all the mods active except atmos, the game is visible. So rn i havent found a solution, i reinstalled all mods, i did the cfg console comands, cleared cache, etc ; too bad, i really wanted to check this out...

@@gastonrelanez3724 i actually ended up making it work but i dont remember how, i use 1.5.1 and i think i had an incompatible version of one of the 4 files needed in the pack, installing this is quite the task since the mods arent equally up to date in moddb, i had to scout for the exact versions used here.

Adega best interiors I think Idk why but I always used phrozac AreaX And now it dont look the same as previous version and cost more performance.. but is the same reshade version.. Look some blurry Idk why and I disable in MO2 Less Thick Fog because I see to much grey fog at far distance.. In Aydins Grass it make better at medium and long distance 😢 Idk why :(

SSS is such a mess. The whole thing causes crashes all the time, while also being a total b*tch to get working in the first place. Total crash fest. The author should be ashamed. Even the simplest google search leads to HUNDREDS of posts of people crashing either on startup or during play. How about release something stable instead of something that bricks an insane amount of installs.

No matter what I do I cant get it to work it will only work with the outdated SSS, I get an error code regarding water effects (attempt to call field 'rain_wetness) something like this, as soon as I disable SSS 19 and reapply the ones provided with EFP it works.. been trying to sort this out for days.

@@RadiationKing9119 nah I gave up I just downloaded GAMMA instead as it’s already installed on that and I added ADEGA, EFP weapons, and turned off GAMMAS mechanics basically made it into EFP, if you want my opinion download GAMMA and just use that as a base I have zero crashes with it unlike EFP. they’ve added Magsdux to all you have to do is tick it in M07 there’s also an option to untick GAMMAS economy so you can actually buy guns from traders instead of killing your self looking for parts to repair.
