Stalker Anomaly Guide How to Install BAS on 1.5.2

This is a tutorial on how to install BOOMSTICKS AND SHARPSTICKS (BAS) on Stalker Anomaly 1.5.2 for MO2 only.
Bas is a weapons pack for stalker anomaly.
Make sure you have installed 1.5.2 patch before you install BAS else it won't work.
Newest version of BaS has more weapons and items then before!

Just a heads up for people who installed "anomaly modded exes" for DLTX compatibility you don't need to install the exe files on bas since the exes on "anomaly modded exes" already works on bas and no animation bug just like in this video just install bas normal way and press play. Only copy the bas exes if you didn't install AMX cus i forgor to read AMX description. I mean you should have AMX everytime you mod anomaly it's really a recommended thing to do.

The error i encounter when replacing the AMX exe file with bas exe file is crashing when loading in the game with no pop up error log just straight up crash. if you experience this shit that's the problem.

Load the stalker anomaly loader enable DX8 and debug mode. Load the game and exit right away. Then load the custom exe.

Maybe some dude has already solved these, but im running with an issue, I've downloaded the mod to try to make Anomaly weapons more different and so, but now I suddenly get crashes and most of them are related to ghost particles telling me they don't exist on my Anomaly folder, do you have any idea of what it may be? I'm geetting half the FPS when using optics that have zoom. Any way to fix this? Even on DX8 it seems to cap at 30fps when zoomed in using optics. edit: I had FPS limited on 60fps. Took that off and now my zoomed in FPS has increased but it still is, strangely, exactly HALF my normal FPS. No matter what DX version I use.

Any Optics ? It sounds like you are using Pip optics from BaS.

@@DrakoMT Apparently only the ones that have zoom (red dots don't get this issue, for example). I'm using the same mod you linked in the desc.

@@gcm4312 Some scopes (Not many) Have Pip Picture in a Picture function it will drop your fps if you use those scopes even some 3080ti struggle with that it's normal👌 They need to find a better way to make those scope use pip.

You must be using some special Fx mod. You can download a different fx mod to lower it down and another thing you can do is on the shortcut of your anomaly icon on your desktop add a startup line called -nodistort.

BAS have there own modified scopes they also change the vanilla once , but there are other mod that can change the texture of the scopes for bas.

What Monitor Screen do you have is it 16:9 aspect ratio?

@@user-km5er8sl6g You have to use 16:9 Resolution Like 1280 x 720 Bas is only for people with 16:9 monitors. There are mods to fix that but as far as I know only for 16:10

Did you locate stalker anomaly with Mo2? Is the mod folder like this? Mo2/Modfolder/Bas/gamedata Make sure the folder for any stalker anomaly mod is like this Example BAS/gamedata It can't be bas/bas/gamedata it won't work

I have a problem, I did all the steps as you said and it doesn't work, when I install only the gamedata file, the scorpion works fine but other guns doesn't, it's like they are moved to the side n when I aim the sight doesn't align whith the head. It also has affected to others gun that aren't from the mod (the inicial pistol n other rifles). I anyways tried to install the DX file as you said and the game just crashes. Idk if I did something wrong or it's just conflicting with other mods and MO2 isn't telling me. Hope u can help me and sorry for my bad english 😅 im from argentina Pd: I have a traduction to Spanish in my game, it's for my little brother an it says that the game is in 1.5.1 version while I have installed the 1.5.2. maybe it has something to do whith my problem?

Do a clean install of 1.5.1 then upgrade to 1.5.2 then install DLTX make sure that everything works then install BAS

You have to copy the folder "appdata", and then replace it in the main folder of the new installation. I always make a backup of this folder before modding.

@@sacrosantosz5503 It sounds you are not using the launcher then if it starts instantly. Go to your stalker anomaly folder find Bin folder inside you see anomaly launcher . exe make a shortcut to desktop and load it from there you will see the launcher options.
