I know it's a year later, but I just wanted to say that I understand. I've never had a good job and lost my family members like rapid fire between 15-25. But honestly, I think all the hardship in life has made me to greatly appreciate things that most people take for granted. It's those things that can never be taken away from you that honestly have the most value, because those are the things that you will always enjoy and will keep you going when things get rough. Hope you're doing alright though.

That was the intent and I’m so glad that it worked for you! Loner 2 Legend was a crash course in Anomaly’s economy, but delivered in bite-sized digestible chunks. I heard and saw that a lot of people avoided crafting and repairs and it made me sad because the systems are fun to engage with. If the series gets even a small handful of people invested in Stalker then it’s a win in my book 🤘

@@Blondefire_HeyBlondie Agreed, the Crafting stuff is indeed somewhat complicated. I basically grinded missions until I was able to buy a decent armor helm combo, repaired my two weapons for 22k ans 35k respectable. I died and struggled a lot with guns that had next to no durability and they jammed after every second shot which caused me to die a lot. After I got two working weapons the game started to pick up with the pace. First 12 hours of playtime were a fucking pain in the ass though. I'll probably take a look at the newer season omce I start another character to make use of more crafting and repairing stuff myself. Has been a blast so far :D

No I don’t. The 3D effect gives me headaches, so that kinda rules it out.

@@Blondefire_HeyBlondie it's not that bad. I refrain 3D movies are bad. I prioritise playing games in 3D@120fps(60 per eye) if there is a fix for it, therefore 2D pancake is inferior to 3D. But as you said it gives this side effect kinda headache to me it clocks in atleast 45 minutes into the game and if you stop playing or switch to 2D the headache goes away in 5 minutes. To me that trade off is worth it.

I love playing monolith with skill mods and such. I totally roleplay as someone who was so inexperienced and out of shape that they were immediately taken by the zone and now are surviving and growing stronger amongst the monolith. It kinda gives a good reason as to why you have nothing, as well as a the zone as a way to explain away all successful missions, rather than the real reason: savescum lol

I'm at the day 70 of your Loner to Legend because I love Anomaly , even tough I haven't played it; the thing I love about Anomaly are the crafting ,pick up items,skinning animations which I do not have in Gamma. For example disassemble just instantly disassemble items, same goes for skinning ,crafting etc etc But being a Monolita 😢 Man I can't picture myself in the Monolita shoes . I can be a UNISG or merc but this Monolita man hurts😅 I won't stop watching your loner to legend Season 2 (I am actually at episode 71), I am just saying I love your content, commentary ; you're very entertaining and chill . .also always ading that mysterious feeling in everything you do, emanate good vibes. Thanks Man😎 Note: about the weight , with the right Artefact and mutants skins as well as the Nosorog, I am at 205kg max carry cap and over 60 available...I don't think that items weight is a huge problem, changing the weight imo is not that necessary.

This ability comes from Grok’s craft and repair overhaul. It makes all recipes known from the start. It also lets you open the workbench screen by ‘using’ any set of crafting tools in your inventory, which is why we’re on the hunt for them.

Originally it was going to be GAMMA but I hated the healing system, and radiation was far too punitive at the time. Many of the mods I used were inspired by/taken from GAMMA, but there were a bunch of others used too. I’ll check the link when I’m back from holidays, not sure why it wouldn’t be working, probably Microsoft with their bullshit updates breaking stuff.

Hey Blondie just curious but how did you get your icons to have the markers and names the way that they are and with different ammo boxes? I installed Maids pack but it seems very different really don't like the ammo boxes included. Also how did you install DLTX with FDDA? Thanks

There are a number of options you can pick when installing Maid’s icon pack. I would need to check my config again for specific settings. I may have layered another mod to add some of these icons, I’ll have a look when I get home. DLTX was also configurable on install. I’ll check that one too. Sorry, at work IRL rn and not able to look.

@@Blondefire_HeyBlondie Cheers thanks. I have most of the mods you have installed and the game is a blast! However just want to give you a heads up incase you run into the same bugs. For some reason a bug appeared when using the EFT footsteps mod that causes a radiation glitch. It happens when you walk near the base of the garbage mounds in garbage (also near the doctor in swamp) that no matter what suit you wear the radiation will go right through it and shoot up to 2000+ rads. Couldn't figure out how to fix that so I disabled every mod one by one until I figured out it was that mod and now it's fine, weird a sound mod would cause that though. Also noticed the Ammo Maker mod is missing icon textures for some parts and I think it may have some overlap with Maid's mod. I have it in the same load order as you so I wonder if you might also run into the same issue.

Nah, nothing wrong. I’ve had to reupload ep2 because of a copyright claim. Those phantom vids hang in the playlist until whatever cleanup script KZbin uses finally removes them. Ep 2 will be out in around 12 hours. 👍

how did you get your registered stalker population to like 907 on startup? most I've got is like 600 registered stalkers on new game start

I set this up a while ago, but from memeory the ZCP mod allows you to adjust mutant and stalker populations and squad sizes.

Not hard to pick what I wanted, but it took some fiddling to make everything work without crashing. Some of it is just a load order issue, but other stuff required deeper investigation.

monolith is surprisingly one of the easiest factions to play as. you know everyone hates you and theres nothing you can do about it. so just shoot everything that moves without remorse. on the bright site zombies leave you alone for once. if only controllers did too...

The mod list is being pressure-tested by this season, but the original goal was to stick closely to the mods that GAMMA was using. With a few modifications 😉

I had a look at your mod list and everything is fine except for 1 . Grok ballistics system is completely unrealistic and utterly useless 2. Dynamic tonemap will make your game look dull and lifeless with screen space shaders and enhanced shaders
