Shooting is difficult because of the sights and trigger, and the caliber isn't that good My father and his commander used to shoot dish soap plastic bottles with it in the military and the bullet wouldn't go through, although it would launch the bottle. They used Makarovs to play football with plastic bottles. Although, it was the case only because they needed to dispose of excess ammunition

I love the fact that people playing Stalker 2 that was released less than a month ago whine that Stalker SoC is more stable, while SoC has: Bugged dialogues. Bugged AI. Bugged Weapons. Bugged engine. Bugged artifacts. Bugged quests. Bugged everything. And that's after all the stability patches released years ago and even updates on console release.

Honestly, It's a miracle that the first few games even work. The code is stuck together with duct tape and bluetack. But I can't help it but to come back every few months. First thing I did after my 2nd run of stalker 2 was come straight back.

SoC is way more enjoyable, and idk what you mean avbout stability and bugs, soc is and always was EXTREMELY stable for me, one crash happens on average omce every 14~ hours at worst, as per bugs, the new stalker has WAY more of them, and is programmed like shit in the first place, from z fighting textures, to mutants and stalkers spawning in your face and pissing randomly, yo teleports, despawns, wepaon spawns in your inventory, and a ton of others i cant even bother to write because we'll be here all day. They patched some of those out, yes, but the game is still buggy as all fuck. And thats just the bugs, theres many more things wrong with it, like say it being a fucking walking simulator over barren AI generated territory with absolutely nothing to do 80-90% of the time aside occasional random spawns, artifact hunting being an absolute joke and walk in the park made for casuals, the shooting being extremely unsatisfying and way too easy due to theenemy idiotic behavior, stypid AI, and most human enemies going down with one headshot which is super easy to land. ZERO mechancial depth to it, the light engine is broken, the textures have bo parallax depth to them despite fucking stalker CS having it, no A-life, and WORST OF ALL, the zone being lifeless and at the same time stupidly safe and lacking in the original atmosphere if dread and wonder, the lore, story and characters being broken to shit and feeling like a joke or even a spit in the face to the original.

58:56, actually the Controller has no melee capability in SoC. it has a very low-level AOE damage aura, but it's so weak you'd need to practically camp out and cook dinner within it to die from it. charging them is the best way to kill them, unless you have very powerful ranged gear or grenades. killing them with a knife is probably the easiest option for new players, especially the one in the agroprom underground as you probably won't have powerful ranged options at that point. their AI makes them slowly walk away from you if you are too close, so they won't be shooting their psi-bolt things at you.

Also by talking to Petrucha (the guy and his buddies that "helps" you with car park task) you get worse reward - doing ATP solo gives you nades, more cash and Fort12 pistol. Also there's big 9x18 ammo box in the bushes near the village - a bit too close to the southern checkpoint Played the game dozen of times since release - never knew about both of these until this year in random video.

41:00 funnily enough, while beating SoC again last week, the body spawned with a loaf of bread, and trying to eat it from the body caused the game to crash😂

Rookie moves my friend. 1 of the bandits in the start can be taken out immediately from far away with a precision shot (when you aim at the head of a stationary target for a while down the sights, the shot will land perfectly 8-9 times out of 10), the rest can be taken out way faster with the 'supershot' mehcanic (aiming down sights on ANY weapon will amplify headshot damage by 4). Thats just the start scuffs, later these mechanics are far more important

Fun bug with the game: You can get full condition guns from enemies by downing them instead of outright killing. Been trying to find a way to use this to repair weapons by dropping them for pistol-only bandits and downing or killing them.

Those crates by the truck in the Bar area that leads to Army Warehouses can drop Tier-3 artifacts. Save-scum enough and you can get stuff like Crystal and Soul.

Funnily enough sidorovich gives u better reward for the night star the barman. But that might just be me the idk if the armor is better then the tourist suit but with the suit u can actually run and get the benefits of additional carry weight just as exoskeleton. And in the brain scorcher u can reset the counter by getting just behind some spots with cover

You could've just glitched the door open with a gauss rifle in the CNPP to get to the Monolith War Lab without the decoder. You just keep dropping the gauss gun until it jams into the door and forces the door open. The doors are physics objects for some reason

@@DeadGameYT Why wouldn't you be able to? It's one of the things I love about SoC. How it just let's you do almost anything. Boy am I still salty about Stalker 2 restricting you so much (progression locks, fall damage is lethal from a bee dick's length, areas blocked off with radiation that insta kills you even if you have full protection against radiation, and oh yeah, just radiation instantly killing when the meter fills up instead of just draining your health).

Worst gun is probably the USP not the PM the PM does more damage with better pen (using AP rounds). The ammo is less available and more expensive and the upgrades are less available and more expensive. That or the TOZ shotgun as it’s just so painfully slow to reload, heavy, and utterly outclassed by literally every other gun in its category.
