The Town: Coroner, Investigator, Lookout, Psychic, Seer, Sheriff, Spy, Tracker, Deputy, Trickster, Veteran, Vigilante, Jailor, Mayor, Monarch, Prosecutor, Bodyguard, Cleric, Crusader, Trapper, Admirer and Amnesiac
The Neutral Apocalypse: Baker, Famine, Berserker, War, Plaguebearer, Pestilence, Soul Collector and Death
Neutral Evil: Executioner, Jester, Doomsayer, Pirate
Neutral Killing: Arsonist, Serial Killer, Shroud and Werewolf

Wow I think this is the first time I've seen Famine win solo. Granted it took town throwing but they only threw a little. Famine had to hand out the bread in a precise way.

Town Threw beyond belief in that match. Usually, Pipe plays at a level that can help even other less-skilled players to win (within his faction), but this time, Town's Throw-ness overcame even Pipe's skills, AND PIPE READ THROUGH COVEN LIKE A BOOK WITH HIS TRACKING I actually bet that 13 was fake Jest, and the moment Famine appeared, I felt like that was 13. Hell I even wished that suicidal Pros felt like Lulz-ing on 13, only to end up winning the game by sheer mistake (he legit wanted that Pros the Jest achievement). For some reason tho, town split onto 3, and they were running out of time so I guess they went after 3 instead. Even worse, when the other Tracker and Mon were left with Famine, they still managed to lose, simply by poor communication and sheer lack of logic (13 should've been the fastest lynch in the west at that point).

@@mtacrdipo7870 Yeah, plenty of reasons why 13 should have been hung at that point. Tracker even tracked him and saw he was fake jest (and obviously not town), 13 should have been hung on principle, even if he thought 14 was famine.

@@mtacrdipo7870 There was a time where I was vig where I was whispering a mayor, and invest, and we managed to hang a coven, and I shot a coven, so mayor confirmed me. It came down to 5 people, and I managed to shoot another coven, and the coven killed someone totally different. at this point I was confirmed town, by so many people. IT was even in the mayors will that I was confirmed Vigi, who shot a coven. Once day started when it was me, the other town, and the coven. The coven immediately went IM VIGI I SHOT THAT COVEN. a few times. Me knowing i was confirmed a long time ago, and it being in the mayors will, was ecstatic that I managed to read the coven like a book, get one lynched, kill two and basically carry the game. I get voted up for some reason. I tell the dude that I was confirmed a long time ago, and I'm even confirmed in the mayor's will. He says, do you think I'm that dumb? I get lynched, and it says my role is vigilante, and immediately it says he disconnects. I assume out of pure shame. I haven't played ToS since.

Oh damn, I was the Poisoner in that first game aha. I was shocked someone asked me role via whispers Day 2, that feels like a pretty rare occurrence in TOS2. I hard contemplated telling coven to kill him, but changed my mind last second and told them to kill someone else. I regretted my decision, it killed my entire team. Sorry Medusa!

It happens. Hindsight, if somebody asks you for role out of the blue and so early (without any other chat), it's likely they have more info on you due to their role, so it might have been a safer play to claim more according to your actual role, so a Tav on your target instead. But aside from that, Pipe simply had the advantage from there info-wise on you guys, and then managed to find the other Coven too

I'm pretty sure 9 thought Famine was an Astral Visit, so them seeing 13 visit meant that 14 was Famine. Hence why they said, "no you're not, I saw 13 visit me."

Hi ToS community just a quick question Why is everyone I meet so upset or angry when new players throw a game or just make a mistake in general? I myself am a new player and are bombarded with insults especially when I roll jailor. It seems as though the ToS community really doesn't like new players or maybe I have just gotten unlucky with my player ques What are your thoughts?

It's in the nature of competitive skill-based games to have a culture around it that ends up developing a huge superiority complex in people about themselves vs the people they play online I frankly think it's really dumb and mostly a result of culture emphasizing the self in America inevitably spreading across into a more mainstream thought but it always brings down experiences. At least people don't see you throw One Thing and disconnect midgame just yet! As someone who has only been watching TOS for several years, this is usually not supposed to happen every single game from what I can tell, but it's certainly not rare. The people who expect so much out of you, especially in a brand new game with new mechanics and interactions, is quite frankly ludicrous. I'm sorry this has been your experience in the game Seeing the way people go out of their way to queue with others definitely lightens the toxicity a bit if that's any solace

@@tymphony7617 On another, more analytical, light, social deduction games like this generally imply a certain amount of intelligence and knowledge, and you essentially rely on your random teammates to also have a certain minimum of knowledge for your game to even be winnable. To put it into perspective with other Multiplayer games, you'd rather not have a teammate, in LoL, that doesn't know how to even use abilities or move as their chosen Champion, or in CS:GO, a player that can barely move and shoot, much less know how to use the specific guns. Thing is, most games have certain degrees of Tutorials to help with those problems, to give new players that base amount of info. However, since Town of Salem relies heavily on Social Deductions, it's hard to make a thorough tutorial to help players realize most base info they'd need, as a lot of it also comes down to the current game Meta (which is, I'd argue, more important in a Social Deduction game than in a game with multiple other mechanics, such as an FPS or MOBA game) My general recommendation for new ToS 2 players is to, after doing the initial game tutorial, read on the Roles from the Settings "Guide" page, then watch some videos of ToS youtubers, such as Pipe, that properly explain what they are doing and the logics behind it. Afterwards, they can confidently step into the lobbies, knowing they are on a relatively level-playing field with the others, and won't be a liability to their own team.

Interesting thought on coroner. Maybe allow their autopsy target to be watched as long as it's targetted, allowing the coroner to know who visited their target (Like a LO ability) to help it's interactions against Necromancers and Retributionists.
