Well done to the young lady. I was in the UK from Australia two years ago and wished I could have had such an experience with someone like Paul Childerley.

Well done, Imogen. I'm heading to South Africa next year for my 1st hunting experience. If I find myself uncomfortable killing the animal, I promised myself that I will stop eating red meat. The challenge is to find a sympathetic hunting farm, where I can be part of the whole experience of field dressing, skinning, and butchery. In SA hunting seems to be more about the drinks around the fire, and you only see the animal when you shoot it, and again when it's mounted or turned into biltong.

22-250 is a bit light for the whitetail deer hear in The US, but those deer seem a lot smaller than ours so I can understand using such a light rifle

What caliber is that rifle? Great video!

Guess I should have waited, the 22-250 is a great round but a little small for our big game in Montana. My brother-in-law uses one for whitetail deer but I like them for coyotes, prairie dogs and wolves, though I use a 220 Swift these days. Great video and I agree, the ladies get it done!

Kenneth Bailey Swift is smaller the 22-2250

_+Kenneth Bailey_ I mean, .22-250 is great, but 6.5 Creedmoor is a better all-around round. If you want a flat shooting round, but also what to be able to kill larger game, 6.5 Creedmoor is the way to go. I use 5.56 for smaller-medium sized game, it's more available and I'm already familiar with it. Just last year I used my Aero Precision 6.5 Creedmoor on a Muskox hunt, worked flawlessly at around 600m.

A 22 I thought you would use a bigger caliber, never mind that deer is very small

I am big fan of fieldsporsts (from the US) & I take my hat off to the young girl for doing this. But (& if you would explain). Are you not exploiting the girl & her looks? The instructor is giving seemingly ethical advice on how to pick & shoot an invasive species.

I hope not. We didn't have a queue of vegetarians and chose the prettiest or tweediest or the one from an ethnic minority. Imogen kindly put herself forward and we said yes. But you make a good point - and I am glad that the KZbin audience is alive to the possibility of tokenism in a way that terrestrial/satellite TV audiences are not. / Charlie
