This cameraman has an awesome eye for detail. It would be challenging to not get too caught up in the beauty of your surroundings and keep focused on your job. He's always having to get ahead and find those angles without giving their locations up to the animals they're hunting. To get paid to be Steven's cameraman is a underappreciated job to the average viewer and it would be super challenging, but in every since extremely rewarding to not only be a first hand part of these epic hunts, but to gain the overall knowledge of hunting that Steven has. I'd love to be a part of this, even if it was behind a camera and not a rifle.

I lived in Tucson in the 1980s and (at least at that time) you had to have a fishing license to hunt/kill reptiles. However, under the circumstances, I highly doubt any game warden would have found a violation in what happened with you. Great videos! Also, taking the wounded buck over the other was a class act. You have grown immeasurable amounts of respect from me for that. Well done.

Even if that was still the case, the only long term license (short term not available for big game draw hunts) for non-residents is the Hunt/Fish Combo so he'd be covered. 👍

I've almost stepped on a rattle snake as well. I was walking along a trail and, in the bottom corner of my eye, noticed a quick movement by my ankle. I looked down and saw the snake recoiling to strike again. It didn't rattle until after it struck out at me. Luckily it was just a warning strike and didn't actually tag me. As I was looking down on it I felt my legs start running, as if out of my control, and my upper body sort of whipped after them.
