He’s pretty much the most sane member of the family next to Johnny. Whereas Johnny enjoys the kill (since he’s a serial killer), Drayton (The Cook) doesn’t, and prefers to keeps civil outside of the family to avoid getting in trouble with the public, and even tries to advice locals who come by to his gas station to not to go anywhere near the family house, in an attempt for them to not be killed if they were to potentially disturb the family’s property. He’s not a violent man in terms of enjoying it, he’s violent because it’s something he has to do in order to prevent the public from ever finding them out and permanently ending their way of life.

i looked it up and "shadows" refer to the stuff like survivors are hiding in dark areas, like tall grass/plants or dark parts with no lights. apparently as a survivor you can still move in those without being detected by grandpa, until he reaches level 3.

If you collect from a blood bucket and it caps your storage the rest of the blood is still in the bucket. Example: you're 120/140 and collect from a 30/30 bucket you'll go to 140/140 and the bucket will be 10/30. So if it's on your way there isn't really a downside to grabbing it
