Some further tips to help make it work, Run joy2key as Admin. Ensure that the button you bind it to on your controller is unbound in the rocket league settings. Also set keyboard input acceleration time to 0.

Just follow the video step by step. It's a super easy process just make sure to run joytokey as admin. Pause the video and replay as required.

Have you set keyboard input delay to zero. If this doesn't fix it change deadzones higher. And check you have nothing bound to the button you are using within RL.

It may be a slight movement in your left stick causing it. Try increase deadzones or change to one of your main buttons.

Did you make sure you ran it as admin. I am currently traveling southeast Asia, but add me on Discord and if I get a minute I will show you an alternative method. In the meantime download reWASD as it requires a pc restart. It is a similar app just a little more complicated to use. Just the free version will be fine.

Only if you have unbound the airroll button from your controller unless you are trying to air roll left with air roll right bound to the combo then this will counter your button presses.

Yea download a macro program that allows you to bind a key to be multiple keys. I googled and found www.autohotkey.com but I have no experience with it. There are other programs that I use but they are paid.

yo, i did this exactly but i want my stall button to be X on my xbox controller, and when i do this for some reason i can’t steer my car left or right in the air afterwards, and i’m not messing with any air steer buttons nor did i accidentally bind them, i like quadrupole checked and reset my binding to make sure i wasn’t tweaking, does it just not work on the button X? or something i’m not sure

I don’t think so, but I use wired so haven’t tested. If joytokey lights up yellow when you press buttons on your controller then yes it should work.

It’s supposed to spin. You can reduce the spin by tapping and releasing the button quicker. Hope this helps.

@@wahamaha5283 Hey i just wanted to inform you and anyone else interested how to prevent rotation completely no mater how long you hold the button. When you edit the button assignment, click on keyboard (multi) tab, check the "Execute from [Input1] to [Input4] in sequence with specified duration" selection, then on the right side where it says "Input Hold Duration" enter 1 Finally, at the top left where it says Input1 with 4 "None" boxes, enter the key you bound in the first box. This has made it alot easier for me! Hope this helps!

Not this method. But all you need is a button that you can set up a macro to press all 3 buttons. However doing a stall is a lot easier on KBM anyway.

I doubt it. If you have a keyboard near you and bind it to spacebar would it be cheating to push down spacebar when holding a controller, i wouldnt think so. Also it has no in game benefit over other players as this is mostly for freestylers.

This program doesn’t inject code or have any impact on the game it literally just shows as you hitting a keyboard stroke with your controller.

@@noobvandan You're right, what worries me the most is when people are changing their Input Hold Duration msec through JoyToKey. Correct me if I'm wrong but it's basically macro (if the whole thing isn't already) and Epic Games has been known to ban people using it.

@@niklasalasuutari8153 by placing all the keyboard options within the games own keybinding options in theory you are creating a macro. All joytokey is doing is pressing p on the keyboard. Say you create a foot switch that is just a keyboard with the P key is that breaking rules? If you play kbm and use the mouse software to bind the back button to 3 presses is that breaking the rules? I very much doubt in this case epic will care as it doesn’t impact the game or it’s code. Sorry if I misunderstood the comment.

Maybe if you downloaded from anywhere other than the official website. I know CNET add malware to most installers. But no it shouldn't have malware, I have ran mine through Malwarebytes and no issues. However feel free to try ReWASD, it is another popular program.
