Really liked this quest. The Indifference is shaping up to be a great antagonist. Love every single interaction we get with it! Also big surprise that the Orokin managed to piss it off. They have a real talent for that. Also also I just realized something about Cyte-09. Loid's message said that he was never actually named. Cyte-09. TechnoCYTE-09.

I think DE needs to watch out. Wally used to be a much more powerful and dangerous entity. But with every new quest, he seems weaker and less intelligent. Also, it will be near impossible to write the Void itself losing to such a simple human concept as love.

@ghost_pl9259 Certainly, but to me it is also clear that Wally is not able to access the full extent of its power at the moment. Firstly because it isn't whole due to the missing finger, but also because its true self is still trapped in the Void. It has access to 1999 thanks to following Albrecht, but that time period does not have a strong link to its realm due to a severe lack of Void technology.

@@ghost_pl9259for one, his main issue has always been the fact he has limited reach. He’s not weak, he’s just having issues finding places to output his power outside his domain. 1999 was a fragmented CHANCE but given we arrived so soon it’s hard for him to do much since we went to stop him. He’s not stupid, he’s made extremely good moves and use of the reach he has. Secondly, he is literally *The Indifference* to be fair. He knows a lot and can copy a lot but emotion reacts to the void very harshly. We’ve known this for a while Tbf. It’s why Zariman children had an entire book on emotion regulation specifically just for void travel. In that vein, love is possibly as far away as you can get from indifference. Wally simply can’t handle it.

Yeah, it would be a real fight to find someone the Orokin *didn't* enrage... and most of that list would probably be Orokin too out of the loop or confused to have any idea what was going on with the rest of the empire XD

@@ghost_pl9259 Keep in mind that it was on the cusp of winning at the end of the quest, and it still is as we've only delayed the reactor meltdown by warping time, Kalymos shows us that the bad end future is still there waiting for us.

Was checking out gameplays to see how people react to the story and found out the lore master himself put out a gameplay but few minutes in and he just made jokes about everything... I hope he comments on the lore at all.

Man, this quest made no sense. That is a hard thing to say since I can usually arrive at some semblance of meaning from most quests. But this one...ouf. Felt kinda sloppy. Maybe I have to sit on it for a while and replay it when it becomes available.

The pacing was a bit sudden at the beginning but the story and writing itself was fire. I guess if you keep missing things in the previous quests, you’d have trouble keeping up.

Yea it was weird. Gameplay wise I loved it, so many little gimmicky bits but it was fun. But the story, mannn, as much as I try piece things together, I end up finding another huge issue w it. I can read between the lines for parts of it and forgive the lack of context giving, but some of the story points are just too lacking. It's also sad how disconnected it is from the whispers in the walls update and lotus eaters, feels like we didn't get any connection there. Lots to be desired w this quest unfortunately
