I think the main reason Arthur is "tired" at the end is because of the radiation pouring out of the core he was fighting in. His body is basically dying due to prolonged exposure.

Could definitely be the case. I don't know much about how radiation effects the human body, but it was funny to see the sudden sleepy mode

@@ExoticPlungerboth Aoi and Arthur are over come to radiation poison. Though it’s a mix for Aoi as her powers also kill her. She was getting radiation burns on her face though.

Magnetic fields can deflect radiation so it wasn't the strain of using her powers that killed her but probably her pouring an obscene amount of radiation into herself by holding the rods in place. It's probably why Amir was so fine in comparison to the both of them.

My favourite part of 1999 was the truck session armed with the RPG as I did it with Mesa Prime and it looked GOOOD

Mesa Prime goes hard with anything honestly. One of the most badass frames there is. Mixed with that truck scene (which I also loved), yeah I can see why that's your favourite part

Needing to max out standing for a full conclusion isn't new, but the plot was absolutely scuffed with detail where it wasn't needed (the Zariman sequence), and no detail where it was (the intro, drifter convincing the Hex not to kill them for being sus as hell)
