Looks so smooth and lovely. Long glides. Once I also tried to mess and play with the stall point standing on or right in front of a ridge. I found that is was almost impossible to make it stall. I discussed this with a very experienced instructor later. And he explained that finding the stall point in upwards moving air is so very much different from finding it in flight / normal air. It stalls so much later than in real flight. So we all need to be very cautious extrapolating such findings because we are fooled in a very bad way. In the normal air you will reach the stall point a lot earlier. I think this is worth mentioning in relation to this video. Cheers and thanks for all the inspiration you provide.

The Lynx is a very progressive wing, and for Gemma to ground handle the way she did was fantastic! Well done Gemma, you handled it like a pro!

a gemma é muito sutil nos controles da vela... sensacional... ela quando chegar a hora vai voar muito bem numa vela C.

I have 35hrs on the epic. Im thinking of getting a punk soonish as I'm finding it's energy is bled off too quickly and wind penetration is very limited to the speed bar just being a faster way down rather than forward . A video on your thoughts on stepping up might be use full to those questioning when they should upgrade. Pilot hours, experience, no of launches. Etc. Ps...my Mrs thinks Andre looks like borat. Would you do an impression for her 🤣😂🤣😂

I think flying a C wing in laminar coastal air would be fine for both of you (even 3 years ago when this video was posted) I feel like it’s in thermic conditions where it would be dangerous

You don't need to take care of the wing... with your ground handling skills, you can inflate the wing at the hotel, walk it to the beach, do some testing and walk it back to the hotel.

Not sure why you folks are afraid of wanting a C rated wing when almost all of your videos appear to show you almost always fly coastal. Smooth laminar air sites reduce almost all chances of deflations. If I was flying in those kinds of conditions I would just buy whatever wing I wanted regardless of rating. I would obviously keep a B wing for everything else but there is nothing wrong with wanting to add to your quiver. I own wings for just about everything I have a safe wing (En a), a general wing(En b), throw down wing(unrated), a mini wing for high wind, and a beater wing. Having a selection of wings with different ratings and sizes really optimizes the possible flying sites and conditions.

yeah if you can afford it that's definitely the way to go!

be prepared to be surpassed by Gemma, she is addicted.... lol... well done Gemma!!! she is getting the perception... the only thing that I disagree is the fact that the wing is not fitted to you guys... in the right condition, even a high C glider could be used for a pilot with good ground handling skills like you ... without the correct skills, even a LOW A can be a risk...

music stinks, in my opinion. Is this a MTV video?. Nice wing though.
